“No,” Percy agrees, and Alcina curls in on herself. “You are something beyond what a warrior could ever hope to be.”
Alcina’s gaze snaps up.
Watches, with wide eyes, as Percy’s lips tug into a little smirk, defiant and daring and not at all unlike Lady Darla’s own brand of chaotic boldness. It transforms his features, from the quiet, lazy lethargy it always carries, into something suddenly alive. “You are the Stormbringer, Alcina,” Percy says, steady and sure.
