I would have to speak with Keith to caution his fucking right-hand man because the last thing I wanted was getting harrassed and humiliated like this. “He is not here,” Cain stated tightly. “Excuse me?” I demanded, as I couldn’t really fathom what he was going on about. “Mr. Keith is not here,” Cain repeated. “Where is he then?” I asked. “He has returned to the Institute,” Cain responded. I chuckled drily. “You are kidding me, right?” I asked Cain and he shook his head.

I extended a hand to him, and shaking my hand, he smirked at me, watching as Natasha took a step back. “Alpha Nathan Kozlov. You really are a man of business. I can see that your place seems to bring in more people with each passing day” he said, looking at Natasha who bit her bottom lip as she smiled. I knew that it disgusted her to act this way, but she also knew her job and duty well, and it was one of the main reasons why she was the ONLY one qualified for this job and no one else.

I couldn't help but wonder who had called him to provoke such a reaction. Curiosity got the better of me, and I picked up his phone, discovering the name "Drake" displayed on the screen. "Who is Drake?" I inquired, and he simply stared at me, his voice filled with anger. "He's a long-time friend, a betrayer. I've told him never to call me, and I don't feel like answering his call."

Kathryn sat in it, while the women perched elegantly on the edge of the desk. "I assume that you are Principal Kingsley?" Kathryn asked with a slight raise of her eyebrows. "Oh yes, do forgive me," the Principal said looking slightly embarrassed, " I have been remiss in my manners. Not only was I late but I did not even introduce myself properly.
