Keith looked at me for a moment before glaring at Lance. "Fine, but if anything happens to her, I am going to kill you," Keith replied "Yeah, Yeah, whatever," Lance said as he rolled his eyes and turned to us. "Okay, you guys, let's go," Lance said I watched the three big wolves as they slowly made their way toward me. I knew I needed to watch them all to see what they were planning. One of the wolves lunged at me, and I swiftly moved out of his way. The other two came at me right after, and I dodged one, tripping him and making him fall on the ground, and pinned the other to the floor.

Lance's voice filled the space. Aspen guessed that he used his shifter ability which he tossed for a long time because it was the reason his real family tossed him away. Kailin looked back. “And who are you?” Lance smirked, his hands pocketed while he strutted to them. “I am Lance, the Alpha King of The Rebel pack.” The guards quickly reached for their weapons. “I came with my mate, Doctor Sabrina. I believe you called for her expertise. And now that she is here, please show her some respect. Get your hands off her while I am being nice.”

Until Cassian returned unexpectedly. “Keith has woken up,” he announced, “when he comes here, do not bring up Lance.” “Except you let me see my son…” “You are in no position to make demands,” he said, “you will see Lance only when Keith allows you to.” “Cassian…” But he was gone. Keith did not return to the room that day or the next. He returned several days afterwards looking healthy. He was really okay now. I wanted to ask him about my son but I recalled Cassian’s warning.

"Is that so? What kind of consequences are you talking about?" Keith did not expect Liam to react so nonchalantly and even had the audacity to question him. He scowled, keeping his eyes trained on Liam's calm, otherwise expressionless face. "Trust me, you twat, you wouldn't want to get on the Saunders' bad side!" Liam, however, was unfazed and replied nonchalantly, "Why don't you try me?" That set Keith off so much that he immediately snarled, "Very well then! Since you have a death wish, I will gladly fulfill you!"

I smiled at him. “As friends? I can do that. Just text me a day and time, okay.” My reply seemed to excite him. His handsome smile showed off his pristine white teeth. “Yeah, I will do that. Are you going somewhere? Let me get the door for you.” Lance ran to open the packhouse doors for me. I stepped in front of them just as the door opened wide enough that I could see Brax leaning against a bike. Where did he get that? “Oh, the dragon prince.” Lance jogged down the steps after making sure I was out of the way of the door. “Hey man, we haven’t had a chance to meet. I’m Lance. It’s nice to finally meet you.” They shook hands.
