Kelly Hyland Novels & Stories

She looked quite helpless this way. “Oh—“ Melinda looked up, startled. “Please! Not interested in that section whatsoever.” She giggled pulling her newspaper apart. She even pointed at the empty seat in front of her urging Alessa to join. Well, this was going to be easier than she thought. Alessa kindly smiled and took the seat and the loose papers she handed her. “Hello, I am Alice Kelly.” She extended her hand now that it was free. “Melinda Iron.” Alessa softly gasped knowingly, trying not to sound too interested. “I think I read about you? My site, PHAT, wrote an article on you. We have a monthly women spotlight section and you were featured.”

My mom and I have a set diet plan where I eat properly on alternate days and the other days I would just eat fruits. Yes, it is more horrible than it sounds. I am actually used to the headaches. “Nope, I can’t eat today. Anyways, I have something else to talk to you about.” I say as I drag out my words suggestively, making him switch off the stove and focus all of his attention on me like he knew I was up to something. Okay, now I am nervous. “You remember the model, Kylie? Pretty girl with-“ “Yep, we talked for a few minutes. She was trying to find her phone, turned out to be in her pocket the whole time. Weird.” He told me, almost making me shake my head.

Natali Hye Chen sat behind her desk in the marketing division, her eyes fixed on the computer screen in front of her. On the display was a photo—taken from the charity gala security footage—of Kayla Reeds standing beside Jordan More, their hands just barely touching as they watched Qing Lin dance with Liam. Natali had been collecting information on Kayla for weeks, ever since she’d spilled coffee on her hand in the break room. Something about the woman had rubbed her the wrong way from the start—too quiet, too determined, too close to Liam for Natali’s liking.

And then she turned and walked up the stairs to her room. After she left, Christopher turned to Asher. "So you are the private investigator Hillary hired. You are very good at what you do. I have to say, I can't thank you enough for what you did... You saved Kimberly's life" "Just doing my job" Asher said simply. "Christopher Keane. Pleasure to meet you" "Pleasure meeting you too" Asher replied and shook Christopher's hand. "Well, Asher and I have a lot to discuss" Hillary said.

All we wanted was to be Jacob and Sadie and be free. I found a woman by the name of Doctor Riley Kim. She is a well-known Psychiatrist here in Baker with a hell of a reputation. She is also very expensive and hard to see. I got an appointment for Sadie and me two weeks after Sadie turns eighteen. We hoped she would work with us once we told her our situation. We needed her to see Sadie as a mentally healthy woman. We needed her to see how wrong Sadies reports were. The only thing we worried about was how the doctor could get ahold of Sadies records without giving our location away. It wasn't going to be easy, but we had to try something.

The female person in charge hung up the phone and respectfully looked at the woman sitting at the desk. "Catelyn has been disqualified from the competition according to your instructions, Miss Lola." Kelly Preston was a woman in her forties. She was a close associate of Granny Atherton and also one of the executives who assisted Lola in completing her jewelry design for the competition. Lola showed a sweet smile. "Thank you, Aunt Kelly." "Think nothing of it. It's my pleasure," said Kelly, neither humble nor arrogant. She then asked hesitantly, "Are you not going to tell the old lady about this? This competition is very important to her."

I looked at Keane, who was leaning up against the railing, his eyes still pinned on where she last stood. “Feel better?” I asked. “You wanted to catch her, and we did.” Keane said nothing for a long moment, but Teague spoke up. “I see your obsession with her, man.” He whistled between his teeth. “Those fucking legs go on for days.” “She’s a beauty,” I agreed, imagining running my hands through that dark, color-streaked brown hair. “A fighter, too. Why is she here?” “Dunno,” Keane said finally. “Since that last nurse bitch Malorie got fired, I haven’t been able to get into student files.”

Leo, who was moved to tears, tried to approach Jessica again, but she took a step back. "Come talk to me after your face heals." She waved him off with open disdain before finally turning her attention to me. I had been observing her for a while now. Just like Steven said, his granddaughter was stunning, bold, and sharp-edged. She was truly unique. Unfortunately, the way she looked at me now was full of contempt. It felt almost like she was looking at something dirty. "Hello, I'm Christopher Sutton." I stepped forward to introduce myself, but she cut me off immediately.

When Katherine woke up she was surrounded by the people she had come to know Over the last few days people she had come to consider her friends: Giselle, her teacher, mentor, friend; Sofia, the sister Katherine had always longed for but never had in Melody; Ray Stalls and Tracy Adams, the Couple who couldn't stop fighting... or stay away from each other either; Moonbeam, a vegetarian, earth-loving girl whose voice was always soft and kind, never a harsh word escaping her lips, and her boyfriend who was the complete opposite, Jamie Madison.

Ryan break this pictu- My eyes get terrifically wide as I see the playboy swimsuit calendar on his table. The girl in the bikini is Kelly Clawford, the model I slept with last week. Is he into girls? Is he straight? I ask myself. My wolf is swimming in jealousy, envying the calendar bikini girl. Ryan, tear this calendar and that dog's picture, break all the computers and tables. Dakota screams in my head. "I have an extra if you like it this much." I knew who said that because my heartbeats instantly fasten hearing his smug voice. I turn my head, glaring at my mate. Does this human even know who I am?
