Her Deadly Revenge

Her Deadly Revenge

I know it was a hard truth, but it was better to face the truth head-on rather than run from it. "There's one important factoid that's really bothering me." Thomas tapped the wheel, turning down his long driveway. "Was Mike alive or dead when I killed him? Because if he was alive and out of his mind, then I murdered a man. But if he was dead, which he very well could've been, then I killed a... zombie." Goosebumps rippled down my back. Zombie. Thomas was the first of us to have enough courage to say it. I hadn't said anything because I didn't want them to call me crazy, but when Thomas suggested the idea, Derek and I couldn't fight his logic.

I really got sucked into this book. It was very good. It has nothing to do with wolves, like the blurb above says. It's more like an end of the world type book. Wasn't something I normally read, but I'm glad I did.
Sabrina
The blurb and the title don’t match this book. The story is about a zombie apocalypse, a bunch of strangers that meet and their relationships that develop throughout. I thought the ending was good, but I would love to read a sequel for some much needed closure. Overall, it’s a really good book.

His Little Temptress

His Little Temptress

“But you’ll have to brace yourself, Miss. You’re an emotional one.” Lila tilted her head, curiosity flickering through her expression. “Is it that touching?” Graves’s lips twitched, but there was no humor in his eyes. “Yeah,” he said after a pause, his voice low and calm. “For someone like me whose family was killed right in front of him when I was barely seventeen.” The air in the room instantly shifted as Lila’s breath caught in her throat, her eyes widening as blood drained from her face.

Fatal Marriage

Fatal Marriage

she replied, touching his groin area. "Nera no… please stop!" "Why? Because you are fucking married?" She laughed. "Nera, once we open this closed Pandora's box, it will eventually be our end," Frank warned her. It was no secret that he still loved her; her hands on him were bringing back memories that he wished were buried and he was already getting hard from her rubbing him. "I am already dead; you killed me four years ago; this here is just a walking corpse," she confessed. Frank finally looked into her sad eyes.

Digging My Grave

Digging My Grave

His feelings were far too fleeting. Ryan's fingers twitched, and I knew he was recalling the same moment. Then, he reached out with his claws and scraped away the words on my tombstone, carving new ones in their place. "Ryan and his mate, Tiana, rest here together." His claws tore open against the rough stone, blood dripping from his fingers, but he ignored the pain. Slowly, he lay down in the grave he had just excavated. A satisfied smile crossed his lips as he injected himself with a lethal dose of wolfsbane. His pupils contracted sharply, his breathing grew labored, and his body convulsed under the poison's effects.

Work Location: Literally My Grave

Half-buried in weeds. I turned, walked back to the car, and popped the trunk. A sledgehammer sat inside. Gift from a renovation company. Ribbon still tied on. Bright. Almost a joke. I grabbed it, walked back, and stopped in front of the headstone. Taking a breath, I tightened my grip around the cold metal. Then I swung. All in. Smashed it down. Crash. The sound ripped through the empty grounds. Bang. Again. And again. Until it was nothing but broken rubble.

The Frozen Grave

The Frozen Grave

Even if you die, everyone would just hold a grudge against you for bringing the samples with you. "If you beg, Zachary and I might feel generous enough to go collect your corpse." My silence only earned sharper mockery. Zachary spoke coldly, "Before you die, remember to put those samples back into the car. Luna still needs them for her merit, you know? "Besides, if you hold it while you die, who knows what bad karma it's going to bring for a pregnant woman like her?" The samples… I had found them through countless observations, nearly exhausting myself in the process, and now they wanted to take even that from me.

Finding Mr. Perfect

Finding Mr. Perfect

Kyle interjected, a smug look painted on his face. “Mr. Wright, it’s good to see you again,” Aldrich acknowledged Kyle’s presence. “The next time you see Mr. Grim Reaper, tell him my wife and I have already signed an exclusive contract with another afterlife provider,” Kyle added. “Premium package, unlimited clouds, no harp music. He can save himself the embarrassment and cross us off his list.”

An inspirational novel with a captivating storyline. Tho Freya wasn't aware of how much Kenneth loved her and for long he did, she knew exactly how to reciprocate that love the moment it hit her. I loved how Kenneth seized his opportunity when it came and got his girl. Once more great story Author.

Night of the Rogues: Trapped with the Enemy

Night of the Rogues: Trapped with the Enemy

It had long been my fear that I would have to do that for Mara one day, she was so close to giving up before this Freeze. Unfortunately gravedigging requires the ground to not be frozen. So one particularly dark, long cave has always been used for this purpose. “Nothing’s changed, not a fucking thing,” Elvie huffed, as the sniffling procession lay willa down on top of a sheet, ready for wrapping. Her blonde curls were still bouncing and light, she could almost be sleeping.. Elvie continued in a low, angry voice. “We’re just as fucked as we were under Valdis.”

Deb Eff
The author of worlds. Alle creates a universe then sucks you into it. You get to watch as her horribly human characters twist & turn: you feel their anger, frustration, loss, longing, fear & root for them as they find their peace, hope & love. Always in my top 3 authors and never disappoints
Spacekonijn
Spectacular and surprising from beginning to end. I had theories of the plot at many times and was proven wrong almost every time. This book has it all; multiple plot twists, original setting lovable and hatable persona, life and dear. Tangible fear and unbridled happiness. Must read!

OUT OF THE ASHES

OUT OF THE ASHES

He pointed an angry finger at Kira, fire curling around his hand in fast little flickers that never burned his skin. “You’re late,” Xander snapped. Kira didn’t look up from where she was manually trying to open Knight's restraints. “Fuck off. I lost half the blood in my body, and they tried to bury me in an unmarked grave at the bottom of the goddamn mountain. You’re lucky I’m walking.” “They buried you?” Knight asked, unable to scrape the horror out of his voice completely. He’d experienced a lot of shitty things as a Marine, but getting buried alive was not one of them.

answered calmly and steadily, “Of course. We’ll keep this a secret. The call ended. I sat down on my couch and wondered how Laura and Adam would tear each other apart. I understood Laura far too well. She was stupid and bad, so she would never figure out that I set this entire thing up, much less believe in what Adam had to say. What a pity that I could not watch the two of them rip into each other in rage. I took out the gramophone she gave to me from the closet, and my mind went on a trip down memory lane. I was finally able to avoid the fate of my entire family dying this round, and those two wastes of space were going to get what they deserved! All I needed to do next was wait for their
