Her gaze locked on the tattoo, and her face went deathly pale. “Looks familiar?” I asked, my voice low. She nodded desperately, over and over, then slowly looked up at me. Pure dread filled her eyes. “He’s not the same person,” she whispered, still staring at the photo. “He’s not?” I asked, confused. “Yes… He is Damien Vale but… a different Damien Vale.” Her voice shook violently. “And… it’s the same tattoo from the cartel clique I told you about. My mom’s Damien didn’t have that.”

I stared at him, wondering if he was joking about spending $30 million on me! That’s when I noticed it. The chain around his neck. It was gold and the pendant had the picture of two wolves on it. Suddenly I realized, THIS WAS HIM! this was the man! The man that had murdered my parents! The man that I had vowed to kill! He was standing right in front of me.! I couldn’t fucking believe it!
