Alfi exclaimed. “Alfi!” Kartika, Herman, and Varz exclaimed. “Guys, thank you. I am not hesitating anymore.” Alfi said. “Alfi!” Kartika exclaimed. “Yes?” Alfi replied. “Be careful.” Kartika smiles at him. “Sure!” Alfi smiles at her. “So, you are ready to kill your own best friend?” Rian asked. “They are my best friends, so you are. But, if I have to choose, I would rather kill you as you dare to hurt my best friends!” Alfi exclaims.

“You beat up my best friend and put the woman you claim to love in handcuffs. That’s a little too low for a man like you. I found out about your identity a while ago, but I didn’t tell because I respected the bond you shared, but I guess you can’t say the same” Kreed frowned. “A rat who’s about to be devoured by a cat has no rules.” Killian chuckled. “Do you think you’ll live even if you kill everyone in this room?” “Right. You always have back-ups. I figured that out.” Killian’s face was as cold and still as a statue as he spoke his next words. “Think carefully. Whatever you do, you’ll die.” “Even if I do, I want to see you die first.”

Aside from that, Lev is my best friend, so I am always on his side, no matter what. I admit that I am the troublemaker among us. I quickly get pissed off, too, which is typical for us, the seven founders of Foedus. But I usually kill when my mind is clear, no drugs are in my system, and alcohol doesn't affect me. My way of killing is somehow part of my happiness and contentment, just for fun. It wasn't like I was happy to kill as the happiness psycho killers felt; it wasn't like that. I kill only when that person needs to be killed to lessen scumbags.

A single tear slides down her cheek as I smile through my own pain. “You’re still my best friend, Lil. Their reaction didn't went unnoticed by Killian. Killian continued, his voice a cold. "I was crowned as the new leader and then my wife went missing. We searched everywhere, only to find out that she was being assaulted in a closed room by my own friends." He paused, letting the weight of his words sink in. "Imagine my surprise, I never expected it. And to find my closest friend being shot wasn't something I expected either." He raised his head, the knife glinting menacingly. He traced the deadly edge with his thumb, eyes never leaving Derek and Richard. "So tell me-" He said, his voice a low dangerous growl, "what should I do with my friends now?"

His voice was low, terrifyingly so. Their friends immediately understood. They moved in, forming a tight circle around me. I scanned the ring of people. Most were men—some twice as broad as me. I lifted my chin and met Scott's gaze. "What are you going to do?" He hesitated. I stepped forward. "Planning to kill me right here?" The veins on the back of Scott's hands bulged instantly. I held his stare, unflinching, unwavering. "Let's go back."

“But Chloe won't go down without a fight, she's that crazy. I have to be ready for whatever she throws next.” I pull my laptop open, my fingers moving briskly. “What are you doing?” “I'm sending the recording to Damon,” I say without looking up. “Who’s that?” I pause. “Killian's friend, one out of the two I met with the other day, remember?” “Oh yeah, I do now.” She says, tilting her head. I roll my eyes. “What?” “It's surprising that they seem to be lesser assholes than their friend. I mean all men are literal assholes,”

But the rush of sadness hit me worse than the will to kill. I gave him a tough admit, "Congratulations. You stole my best friend too." Killian bent his body, leveling his height to me. He ran his thumb across my check. I bit his thumb so hard that he had to pull his hand away. He brought his thumb to his lips and licked the blood that seeped out. "That's why you should stop controlling people with the excuse that you love them. It hurts when they leave, doesn't it?" The mockery and disdain thick in his tone.

Lifting my head slowly, I look into one of the men's eyes and whisper a single command into his mind. “Kill your friend.” It happens fast; one moment he's pinning me down, next his claw fingers are around one of his partners' throat, ripping it open, and blood splashes over me. “Fuck, Luke, are you crazy!...” He's saying when I say, “Kill each other.” The remaining three's eyes glaze over. Without hesitation, they turn on each other. Chaos erupts. Blades cut into flesh. Claws tear through throats. Blood hits the walls like rain. Screams fill the cell for seconds before silence drops.
