"If you hadn't egged me on, I wouldn't have done that," Marina screamed. "It was you. You killed Caitlin. You're the murderer." Anthony suddenly laughed, smacking himself. He wasn't holding back. I could see his cheeks swell up red even from a distance. He dropped to his knees. "You're right. I killed the woman who loved me. Her blood's on my hands. I'm a murderer." Kill them if you have to.” He leaned back and glared into Marcus’s eyes. The boy looked perturbed. “But they’re my friends,” he said. Kyle sneered. “If I come back and find out any of them has laid so much as a finger on her I’ll kill them myself. And then I’ll kill you for failing my orders. Got it?”

“I would, though.” He chuckled dryly, “I know. But it’s time for both of us and for the pack. What would he do with his life anyway? I said, fishing for any reaction I could get from him. He was standing in complete and utter irritation knowing that he couldn't do anything since his friends were here.
