They had her wear thick winter boots to keep her feet warm and at her hands, she had leather gloves. Mirra and Winter led her over to the bed and sat her down next to me. They then walked in to the closet to pack her clothes.

The second followed, its armor glowing with heat against the snow. The frostbound moved faster than seemed possible. Their cloak flared, and in the same motion they drew a weapon, half-spear, half-blade, its edge rimed with frost. The ground beneath their boots froze solid, spiderweb cracks of ice racing outward.

Alex sneered. The next moment, he shot out an oversized Frost Arrow with a swish. It had directly come out of the ice layers and shot him right in the chest, unbeknownst to Julian. Although the Kylin Flame’s temperature was extremely high, it was unable to negate the Frost Arrow’s chill. Smack! The Frost Arrow exploded. Julian was stunned. The Frost Arrow had frozen his Kylin Flame, turning his entire body into ice. “Old bast*rd, are you still in a good mood now? Go to hell with your good mood then!”
