The Pretty Prince and the Beast King
Kaelor kicked through a drift, his claws finding purchase on the slick stone of the Frozen Caves.
The entrance swallowed them. The wind died into a low, predatory moan. The dark inside was thick, smelling of wet fur and a hundred years of rot. Kaelor collapsed onto a flat ledge, carefully sliding Aradaa from his shoulders.
"Is he still with us?" Kaerith gasped, her silver light guttering like a dying candle.
"He's freezing from the inside out," Kaelor growled. He ripped his leather vest open, baring his chest. "Aradaa, get in here. Right now."
