I looked up. A silver-masked Stalker was perched ten feet above Kael, his necrotic eyes glowing a sickly purple. "Leo, stay in the bunker!" I commanded, even as I launched a throwing knife. The blade took the Stalker in the eye. He hit the ground with a wet thud.

His featureless face was calm, his hands empty, but his posture was that of a man who knew the fight was already over. “Mr. Rogers,” the man said, his voice a bland, neutral tenor. “A valiant, predictable effort. The aquatic distraction. The service entrance. Mr. Stalker’s signature is all over it.” Anton’s heart hammered against his ribs. The drive continued to pulse, a tiny, hopeful heartbeat in the face of the killer’s void. “He miscalculated,” the killer continued, taking a step forward. “He thinks like an operative. I think like a custodian. I clean the house. I don’t guard the front door.”

She was in tears, knowing that she could have prevented this. Someone killed the least mentally stable person among us. They used her and killed her for their own personal gain. "Isabella Russo, how lovely to meet you" I can sense the sarcasm in his words. I can also feel the killer vibes radiating off this man. Too many people, I'd just call him villain.

She said and went out of the house. She was walking alone in the bright light of street lights. She noticed a shadow was following her. She started to walk fast and that shadow was also walking fast to chase her. She also noticed that there was a cap on the head of the shadow. She changed the ally and stopped there at the corner, waiting for her stalker to turn to that ally. She was already sick of this stalker and because of Adrian she was totally frustrated. She put her hand in her bag in which she was carrying her water bottle. As soon as, that guy turned the ally. She sprayed pepper spray in his eyes.

I stepped closer to him, removing any distance keeping us apart. Lifting my hand, I poked a finger into his chest, “Who are you? What is your name? What is your identity? Where do you live? What do you do? Why did you start stalking me?” My eyebrow twitched higher and my tone simmered with anger, “Have you ever told me anything about you?” I let out a teary snort, “Hell, I don’t even know how does the person whose presence I’d started to crave and whose absence killed me like a slow poison looks like.”

Trailing the guard were the very soldiers and the psychologist who were supposedly dead. "What if... we are the witnesses?" I pushed through the line of agents, walking deliberately toward Silas. Behind me followed ten fully armed "ghosts." Enzo, whose throat was cut; Mario, who jumped from a building; Luigi, who drowned... Even the "suicidal" psychologist, Dr. Sterling. They removed their masks, revealing faces that made Silas look like he'd seen a ghost. The wine glass slipped from Silas's hand and shattered on the floor. His practiced elegance crumbled, and his eyes finally showed terror.
