Well, that was pretty considerate. They even help up in wearing it. We go to the dining hall where the food was already prepared and Hisao along with his wife Iwamoto Kiyoko. She was very elegant and graceful like a peony flower. Her black hair along with her white kimono was amazingly dazzling. I seat next to Hisao as we talk and drink. There is also a performance from an instrument called shamisen that was played with girls called geisha.

I forced air into my lungs. I am Queen Ayamira. Gold light spread through the water. TRUE. The White Tide crown burned against my skull. A child cried somewhere beneath the chamber. I swallowed. I carry the blood of Ayame Rivers. The pool split into white and gold. TRUE. Not her body. Not her life. Her blood. Kiyomi stepped into the edge of the water. The red band around her wrist tightened. I am Kiyomi Rivers. The chamber went silent. FALSE. Hayate’s face emptied.

She leans her head on his shoulder as the bus pulls away. **Mia (quiet):** “You’re trouble, Nakamura.” **Haru (kissing the top of her head):** “Worth it.” Outside, the lake rolls by—gold under the rising sun. Inside, small sparks dance between their joined fingers—warm, controlled, perfect.

ASHINA’S POV The clanging of footsteps shattered the suffocating deadlock. It began as a faint, almost imperceptible rumble, like a distant storm murmuring across the plains. Gradually, it intensified, becoming the steady, deliberate pounding of boots marching in harmony, vibrating through the soil and into our bones. I held my breath while Alpha Knight paused mid-motion, sword suspended in the air, his gaze snapping sharply towards the growing noise. Then, out of the shadows, they appeared. It was the warriors clad in deep midnight blue, their faces adorned with the sacred patterns of my bloodline. Their presence was like a surge of memory brought to life.

Kim Nami continued. I looked up at her who is now seriously looking at me. I can see that in Kim Nami's eyes there are only business matters. "I understand. You just need to keep my arrival secret in Japan," I said trying to calm my mind. "No problem, Kim Hana." ***

She pointed at the white kimono again. "Is that a shiromuku?" Akiko finally managed to name the kimono correctly. "Yes," Miura confirmed with a wide smile. Shiromuku was a white kimono traditionally worn for Shinto weddings. "Am I supposed to wear it? Me?" Akiko pointed at herself. "Yes, because you're getting married again today. You’re going to have the wedding ceremony you never had before," Miura said with a beaming smile.

×Jamie× Wednesday came in the blink of an eye. Only having one class today, I spent most of my time in the library until it was time to leave for the picnic. Natalia made sure to remind me through a text and even if she didn't, I wouldn't miss it. I nervously stood in front of Higan's car as I waited for him to arrive. He had already sent me a text, saying that he would be down in a few minutes. Looking up to check my surroundings, I immediately spotted him making his way to me. This is probably a late realization on my part but Higan was pretty popular. He attracted everyone's attention and it did not take a genuis to figure out why.
