King Dice Novels & Stories

Besides Yvette and Hugh who were both startled, Julie and Ian seemed to have already expected this result and were calm and unperturbed. The moment Keith saw Nicole’s dice, he just felt like dying. ‘Five-of-a-kind! How could she get an upper hand over Eric? This woman just simply shook the dice on the table and was able to get five-of-a-kind?!’ When Keith looked up again, the woman had already disappeared. Yvette gloatingly slapped the table and smugly said, “Mr. Ludwig, don’t forget to strip butt naked before leaving! As you just said, don’t be a sore loser…”

After all, Kace had built his legacy from gambling. Finally, Kace set down his dice cup. Looking at Jermaine with a smile on his face, he asked, “What is your guess?” “One, two, three, four, five, six,” said, Jermaine, randomly throwing out a few numbers as if he knew nothing about the game he was playing. He took a wild guess, “The total is… twenty-one!” “You lose.” Kace revealed his dice. “I rolled six ones.”

“You’re being attacked by a gang of zombies. Your move, Louis.” “I hit one, ah reckon,” Louis stared down at his own blue-colored dice, confused by their complex shapes. “Christ, which one do I roll again?” “The twenty sided,” Kathy offered. “You just said it.” “I can’t keep track of all these gawd-damned rules.”

I squeezed Jonas’s hand before moving to Osirus’ side as he called everyone to order. “Our first game is to see how many kills you can obtain in half an hour, only using your Goddess-given abilities. We will hunt in teams of ten. The winner will get their choice of a date partner for tonight. The date will be at any restaurant in the area and paid for by my father. Now, who wants to be in the first group?” he asked. I thrust my hand confidently into the air. “I want to go.”

"I'll get them now. I'd like it to be a surprise for the slaves." I went into the house and brought them out, and showed them to Sarah. "These are the slaves dice, and these are the players dice," I said. "There's a mild set to get things started; a wilder set, to heat things up; and a finishing set to top things off. The mid-level set is the same for both, but the mild and finishing sets are different for both slave and player." "What's in the slave set?" Sarah asked.

"Do you think you are the God of Gamblers? You think you'll continue winning? You'd definitely lose now." Kai smiled as he looked at her. "That may not be the case; I am betting on small." "If you say it's small, then it must be big!" Tiffany was reluctant to admit defeat. She threw the dice and immediately frowned. Out of the three dices, two showed one dot, and one showed two dots. That was the smallest value possible! Kai smiled and looked at Tiffany happily. "So? Well, I said small, so you lose again." Tiffany snorted and said, "I have four more rounds; don't celebrate just yet."

” She said with a grin. We walked back into the rec room and she stood on the chair. “Ok ladies and gentlemen. We have one final game, but it’s a long one. This is a dice game. Some of you have played bunco before. You roll sixes for points, the winners being the first team to reach 21. Each six is one point, and if five sixes are rolled, the first person to call bunko gets fifteen points. The losers shift places at the table and the winners move up to the next table.

He meant it. I nodded in affirmation before the door slammed shut. *** “ Joyce?” Cynthia said, jolting me back to reality. I stood on a podium in front of a court full of royals, with six cards in my hands. The six cards had the names of all the six princes that remained. The games of Druskell was only available to six princes. Nothing more, nothing less. Desmond’s threats echoed in my mind and to see his face, and his mischievous smile in the crowd made me sick to my stomach.

Grumbling in anger, John picks up the dice and rolls again. “Two sixes!” Lavi picks up the dice and this time, rolls a five and a six. “Imma gonna win this easily!” John claims as he rolls again. Anna shivers as another gust of breeze flows by. “Two two’s!” John exclaims angrily. “How-” Lavi calmly rolls the dice. “Two sixes,” he says with a smirk. John is now outraged. The game is at a tie which is impossible because the dice are rigged in his favor. He is using a dice which always rolls either a five or a six. This is the first time he rolled a two!
