A huge-lion man known for his brute strength and feared as a powerful warrior who wielded a large two-handed sword made of magic ruby, hence the name Ruby lions. The last crime gang in the city was known as the black dragon clan. So far Xolvion had not been able to find much about them, not apart from that they controlled the east side of the city, having a finger in each of the pies that the others had, however, Xolvion had yet to gain any more intelligence on who their leader was, and where they might be located. he said with disgust. “How did you know that’s what the lions were?” I asked gently. “There are two ways. If you’re lucky like I was, you will be downwind of them and pick up their scent. Because the Mannador takes on so many disguises, it has a unique scent. I’ve grown accustomed to it and can generally spot it with one whiff. Secondly, if you look closely into their eyes, you will see a hint of red and green speckles floating around. This is a pure Mannador trait that you won’t find in any other creature on the planet. There are a few exceptions to the rule, of course, but for the most part you can spot ninety-nine percent of them that way,” he explained.

Qadaq was flanked by two werelions, namely, Cesare and Adonis. "Like I said earlier, you're the one who should announce yourself…" Qadaq spoke with authority, his voice booming through the jungle. "So, what the fuck, brings you to our territory?"

I should have destroyed that instead of returning it. I need this to end. To stop. Revenge on my family is the last thing I will do. But, looking at the crown in my hands, I wonder if there’s another secret behind it. “Brother?” I said. “What happened, Rose?” my brother asked as he looked at me over his shoulder. “I was wondering, did father mention anything strange about this crown. You know something peculiar to it?” I asked. “Hmm, now that you mentioned it. I know it was to be bestowed to your mate by you. The crown, no wrong, the red rubies on it are the ones who hold power,” my brother explained as he looked lost in thought.

My anger starts to boil up again as I grip the spoon in my hand tight, "Sorry Chilli, we don't mean to upset you," Ela adds at seeing my reaction. The Ribons were beautiful birds of vibrant reds, blues and greens. Their songs were of even tones and lovely tunes to the ears. Laylan had spent many days in the forest listening and watching the Ribons. She took her staff, and then turned out of her room.
