When he sees that none of his words were getting to me, he changed his tactic. “So you are going to kill a defenseless man, I thought you were the all-powerful hybrid, let's make this a fair fight,” he shouted. “Sorry, that offer has ended a long time ago, and for your information, I was never born a bastard. My name is Ivar Owens, first of his kind, heir and the only true-born King of all the Alpha kingdoms” I said, as I stretched forth my fingers and a light went out of them and entered his body.

The former King shouted at his son. Neil who was already at the door with Keanna nestled safely in his arms, halted, turned, and answered his father with a smile. "The moment father condoned the act of his child killing their siblings, I became disobedient." The former King turned to pick up the discarded sword, only to find that one of his men was already holding it. "I-I apologize, Your Majesty!" "Y-you scoundrel! Aughkk!" His attendant ran straight to him, thrusting the sword deep into his abdomen.

There is however another baffling sight right behind them. King Elon holds three long chains with his other hand, which are attached to the necks of the former Royals, Tedmond, Callum and Regan's mother. They crawl on their hands and knees behind him like his animal pets. Their heads are bowed with shame, while their owner holds his head high with great pride. King Elon's many concubines are next in the line of his escort. They carry whips, which now and then land on the backs of the three former Royals, urging them to crawl faster so that they do not delay King Elon's fast pace.

"Would you have our king's legacy destroyed by hiding the truth? That he had a human son instead of a vampire? A son who now possesses powers that rival any pureblood?" Father raised his hand, and the room fell silent. "Enough, Kira. You overstep." "Do I?" she challenged, her smile returning. "Then let me introduce the prodigal son. The true firstborn prince of our realm. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Prince Jerome Devereux! I'm sure you'll remember him so well." The crowd turned expectantly toward the grand staircase, but no one appeared. Confused murmurs grew louder as seconds ticked by.

All still, vampires and hybrids were all under the command and total control of father. My father, Khalid Ambrosia, was the king of our town. Whatever he says goes and he must not be refused. How a man as brutal as him met my mother and fell in love was a mystery I've never come to know. As an egocentric vampire king, he had many enemies and few connections.

"King Zane have scal_" "And I, your queen, I'm a freaking werewolf." Aria cut Elder Svend off from his words. "it doesn't matter if my husband is a full vampire or not. he's still your King. he's the son of your late King. so it's either you respect him or leave the kingdom." 'what am I saying.' Aria thought, 'I can't drive the inner court away from esterial.'

Then at me. “He knows,” Kieran said. The howl became a voice. Amplified. Ancient. “KIERAN DRAGOS. YOU HAVE SOMETHING THAT BELONGS TO ME.” The Alpha King. Ruler of all Northern territories. And he wanted our son. ---

Too smug and laidback. “ Gualterio. Don’t make this worse. She is our son’s mate. ” Freya hisses at her lover in disdain but he is not done. “ He swore his allegiance to me long ago. ” The truth hits me right across the face. “ W—What? ” “ My son…he is a hybrid with a vampire dominant side, girl. Once he came to the castle and experienced the life destined for him, he knew he had to swear his allegiance to me. ” The King discloses, acting like the bastard he is.

Nothing more. "My son, I'm...". I know she's about to apologize again so I quickly cut her off. "Don't.... Please". She raised her head and looked at mine, her silver orbs reflected so many emotions at once, Sadness, regret, joy.... Thank the stars I didn't miss it. "I have to go now, be quick okay". She said and left. At the royal palace, the king of vampire's from the East sat majestically on his Gigantic Golden throne embedded with millions of tiny black sculls screaming Authority!, with his Queen on his right hand side and his concubine by his left.

he continues, "I present my son, Vladimir Alekseev, the youngest Kuzmin to reach princedom—the new King of the Gray Fields Kingdom!" Cheers and applause erupt. Vladimir steps onto the platform, dressed like his father. His midnight blue hair frames his face, and his eyes hold a mysterious depth. When his gaze meets mine, my heart flutters. I had no idea the lycan who helped me earlier was their new king.
