Gideon would sniff out my lie from a mile away if I looked like the lie itself, so I changed into a floral-pattern mini dress.
It had spaghetti straps across the shoulders and, more importantly, looked casual.
My phone beeping from the dresser drew my attention, and the moment I saw the caller ID, a smile spread across my face.
“Hi, Liam,” I greeted.
“How’s it going, milady?” He asked, his voice sounding a bit teasing.
Aside from having a reputable job, Liam had another side to him that I might call charming.
“Um… I'll be out for brunch, and maybe, text you the address.”
