We walked together to my first class, Matty said bye, kissed my cheek and left, I sat down alone, I'm the only kitten in my grade, there's not much of us really, maybe one or two in every grade. “So you got a kitten today. Tell me about it?” “Well it’s a girl. She’s really small with blue eyes. She is all white with orange, and black spots. Dee-Dee called her a calico. She’s about two months old. She is sweet, but shy. I….um…had actually called you to let you know I had to make a big purchase today to get what I needed for her. I’ll find a way to pay it back. I ask her confused, who's kitty? "Yes, Kitty, my brother, your mate," she says with an eye roll making my mouth fall open, Jordan is Kitty? "He never told me his name was kitty," I say with a slight smile. "It's not his real name, it's more of a nickname, I named him," she says all proud of herself making me smile even more.
