“Hurry, Father. You must help Ian!” Adam steeled his nerves, took a deep breath, and forced his legs to take him across the hot, charred ground as fast as he could. He had to weave around a few spirits who were so opaque and dense that they could have easily passed as real people. He debated whether they were even aware of him as they moved aimlessly about in a zombie like manner.

“Calm down Dev. Louis didn’t hurt me. He’s um, he’s my mate” And there was complete silence. To say my friends were shocked at my news was putting it lightly. They both sat trying to comprehend what I’d said. I got tired of waiting for them to talk and even began painting my nails. I had finished all three coats of my toe nails and was about to start on my fingers when Melissa finally spoke. “You’re mates with Louis Knights? How is that even possible shouldn’t you have known since you’re like 16?” “Yes but you know I keep my wolf suppressed. I think I may have released her by accident and she called out to him”

Christopher and Zyter exchanged a fierce glance, their determination unshakeable. Suddenly, the tranquility shattered as the Blood Ghosts emerged from the darkness. “I was in and out of sleep.” “Thoughts of Titanic?” He turned to face her now, and he was sitting more closely than she thought prudent. “Sometimes,” she shrugged. “Most of my ghosts reside elsewhere.” He closed his eyes and turned his head away. “I’m sorry, Meg.” “I don’t need your sympathy either,” she reminded him, though her tone was just as innocent as his had been. “I suppose not,” he admitted, turning back to face her. “But you have it just the same.”

The undead general dismounted from his horse and approached the village chief who was standing not far from his horse. "Mercy... forgive me...." The village chief knelt down to worship the general. The undead general's sword was swung at the village chief's neck. However, a few seconds before the sword was lodged in the chief's neck, Dewi Sari Kencana parried the general's sword attack and pulled the chief's body, then threw him backwards to save the chief. "What?!" The undead general gasped. He retreated slowly. His sword eyes seemed to freeze. "Who are you?" The undead general asked.

The waterfall behind the Crimson Knight didn't sound like water; it sounded like the rhythmic weeping of a thousand lost souls, its crimson-tinted spray misting the obsidian armor of our executioner. The third Knight raised his black claymore. The weapon didn't just catch the light; it ate it. He shrugged indifferently. I shook my head at Knight, unsure of his angle. “You’re looking for a good time though, and all Pamela is capable of providing is pain. Isn’t that right?” My eyes skewered hers, and from the twitch at the left corner of her lip, she was remembering our time together just as vividly. Her eyes flashed as they landed on Knight. “Oh, I don’t know. I haven’t heard any complaints.” Ghost cocked his head. He freshly buzzed his hair for tonight and it gave him a harsh, military look. “Can’t complain if they’re dead. I’m assuming you can’t speak to the dead, correct?”

I began to chant as I felt the blood of Ares mixing with my own until I could feel his power coursing through my veins. I lift my hand and outstretched it until my long black fingernail was technically touching the barrier around the clearing. I watch as the tip of my nails began to bend until it melt. I smirked before retracting my hand. "Ester darling, I see you are not happy that I am visiting you today." I spoke and summoned one of my crows. This one name was Ghost, he had a liking for lost souls that lingered on earth.He could spot them quickly, something I have used him for occasionally when I want to suck some of the souls power. There is nothing more delicious than a wandering soul.
