I commented seeing how more lights came on. "This zoo stays a little late. It's the prettiest by night. Everywhere is illuminated with light so we can still see the animals and apart from that, it's beautiful. The fee for night viewing is a little higher also." A lady who was also checking out the peacocks said. "Really? That's impressive." I commented before I and Dan moved on to the next animal. We kept on checking animal after animal and laughed at the funny things that some of the monkey family did.

I held him close Sam and Sophia had decided to take their son, Storm, to the zoo, a week ago, and the day finally arrived. A sense of excitement filled the air. All of the kids, including those from Xanthea, wanted to join in on the fun. They stood quietly in the spacious lobby waiting for the limos, their faces filled with mild anticipation, as they waited to start their adventure together.

~ Helen’s POV ~ The zoo was… well, exactly as I expected. Loud, crowded, and honestly not my thing. I didn’t really enjoy it much, but Lisa and Zara? They had the time of their lives. Their eyes sparkled at the sight of every animal, from the tall, graceful giraffes to the cheeky monkeys swinging from branch to branch. They giggled and took endless pictures, even convincing me to pose beside a sleepy lion—which, let me tell you, was not on my list of things to do today.

“What should we do today? It’s a Saturday. We have no schedules, no meetings.” Nova’s eyes went wide with possibility. “The zoo!” she shouted immediately. “We have to go to the zoo! I want to see the penguins! And the big cats! And the monkeys!” Adrian looked at me, a question in his eyes. “The zoo?” The idea was so… normal. So blissfully, wonderfully normal. A public place. A family outing. No secrets, no hiding. “I love the zoo,” I said, and I meant it. His smile was answer enough. “The zoo it is.”

' After the bay, we visited the Honolulu Zoo, where Danny insisted on taking ridiculous photos of me next to every animal enclosure. "Kelly, stand next to the giraffe!" "Kelly, pretend to roar at the lion!" "Kelly, make a monkey face with the chimps!" "I'm not doing that," I told him firmly when he suggested the monkey faces. "Come on, it'll be funny." "I said no, Danny." But then the spider monkeys started swinging around their enclosure, showing off, and I couldn't help but laugh. Danny caught it on camera—my genuine smile, my head thrown back in delight.

They begged "Okay fine" We spent the rest of the day playing video games,eating lots of lots of junk food and watching Zootopia Best cartoon ever !

Quinn pointed at one of the Koi fish which was about one meter long before she said excitedly, “Do you remember that? You used to call it Nobita after Nobita from Doraemon.” Charlie smiled as he nodded and said, “I remember. In my impression, it was the biggest Koi fish when I was still a child.” Quinn nodded before she said, “It is known as the Showa Sanshoku. My dad said that when he bought it in the past, the price of this Koi fish was equivalent to the price of buying a three-bedroom apartment in Stoneibo, Eastcliff.” Charlie was slightly startled. Although he was a little surprised, he was not too shocked.

“Nathan is excited, aren’t you, baby?” Nathan babbled in response, waving his chubby hand toward the phone. “We’ll be waiting for the photos,” Luciana added with a tight smile, and after a bit more small talk, they ended the call. Jace looked at me knowingly. “Don’t let her ruin today.” I sighed, wrapping my arms around Nathan and kissing his cheek. “She won’t. Today is about him.” And what a day it was. By noon, our backyard had transformed into a wonderland. The petting zoo was a hit—ponies, bunnies, even a tiny goat Nathan was fascinated by.

Feeling tired from the long day I too lay down to rest my eyes for a bit, however, I must have been more tired than I realised as when I awoke the warm sun was beaming through the bedroom window onto my face. * The next few days go by too fast. We visited Newquay Zoo, Joshua held hands with Harry and helped him find the tigers that were camouflaged into their surroundings, watching him interact with his little brother I realise how grown up Joshua is now, he pulled faces at the monkeys to make Harry and Rosie laugh and we spent about half an hour watching the penguins sliding down their rocks into the pool.
