Amery thought with a smile as he looked Dio in the eye. “Is there something on my face, my lady?” Dio asked. “No. I was just thinking that despite not knowing how to dance, you haven’t stepped on me yet.” She giggled when Dio’s brows furrowed. “I know how to dance, my lady. I just don’t know if I’m good at it,” Dio defended himself. “Okay,” Amery said but she didn’t sound so convinced so Dio looked dejected. She couldn’t stop herself from laughing at Dio’s expressions.

Then, Dawn said something neither of them was expecting. “I miss you.” When those words left his lips, Dawn almost crashed into the car in front of him at a traffic junction. Thankfully, his reflexes saved him. “I missed you too!” Aqua clutched her phone with both hands, not missing a beat. “Come back soon, Don. I’ll be waiting with sushi.” Agreeing quickly in a dazed state, Dawn ended the call quickly. What the heck did he just say?
