Chapter 93 Connor and Annah had finally arrived at the safehouse, a quiet haven nestled deep within a lush forest. The hideaway had become a necessity, a refuge from the constant threats and attacks that had been happening to them at Connor's mansion. As they stepped inside the cozy cabin, Annah's eyes widened in surprise. "Wow, Connor, this place is beautiful!" she exclaimed, taking in the warm, fresh interior with its wooden beams and stone fireplace. Connor chuckled, his arm slipping around her waist, drawing her close to him. "Well, I had to make sure it was at least as nice as the mansion," he quipped, his tone playful.
