Kristin Hannah Novels & Stories

“Listen, sweetheart. I know we have talked about having pups and what our future holds, but I was hoping that we could take Hannah into our home and raise her as our own.” Leah stared at the gorgeous little girl lying next to her thoughtfully. She hadn’t really thought about having children, but she was not opposed to it. In fact, she actually loved being around them when she got the opportunity to. Seeing all the pups at their mating ceremony had brought joy to her hear, and for a moment she had thought about what it would be like to have one of her own.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Jenni March, I am 18 years old, daughter of Rick and Rose, The Alpha and Luna of Crystal Forrest, a community nestled next to a quiet town in Southern Tennessee. I have lived here all my life and it is the most beautiful and charming place. Between the hills, and the creeks and rivers, its pure bliss.

Staying as far away as possible seemed like the better option, honestly. As I watched the guys, an attractive blond-haired woman with large breasts and a short miniskirt approached the guys. She was tipsy from what I could see, and she was giggling as she approached the Rogues, swaying slightly as she settled herself into Keane’s lap. I was surprised when he didn’t push her away, instead allowing her to sidle into his lap like a lost puppy dog. “That’s Sadie,” Kasey said softly, taking another drink. “She’s the Rogues’ current booty call.”

“Hey! I don’t need people to babysit m- also it’s important to figure out which screams suits me. Now when we have time, we’ll do the laugh. I feel like a big ‘hahaha’ suits me more than a giggle and-” “Jake is an expert in this, you know. You should ask him to sit with you.” I say and Jake widens his eyes at me before giving me an angry look. “Jake! Is that you?” I hear a sweet voice making me whip my head around in the direction of the woman who broke up with Jake a month before their wedding, I finally got a good look at her. The last time I had just seen her from a distance but now here she was standing in front of me looking so simple and beautiful. She was short with dark brown hair an

Cynthia nodded and said, "Mrs. Hartford, did you plant all these flowers? They look so pretty!" Kristen smiled. "I haven't been around much the past six months, so the gardeners have been taking care of them." "Mason, can you build a greenhouse like this at your place, too?" Cynthia said before she turned to Kristen. "Mrs. Hartford, do you know my sister?" Kristen was an award-winning actress in the end. Her heart might have sunk a bit, but the smile still remained on her face. "I've met her before," Kristen answered. "She really admired you and liked flowers, too. Mason, if you build a greenhouse like this, I bet Xena would be really happy," Cynthia said happily.

A voice came from behind the two. Gael and Leonard turned around in unison and they were both shocked at the sight of Ashton. Ashton was walking over with a woman and the two were holding hands. The woman had fair skin, she was slender with a narrow waist and her legs were long. She looked beautiful as her long hair danced lazily in the wind. Ashton was as dashing as always but his face was a little pale. Gael's mouth was wide open after seeing his grandson. Leonard on the other hand had his eyes fixed on Maya as his eyes flashed with a mysterious light. No one could tell what he was thinking about or what was so interesting about Maya.

Probably some guy gave her a fake number in the bar. "I know what it is. But who are you?" She again asks me anxiously. "I am secretary of the President of the Damison Group. My name is Ethan Stone." I reply to her irritatingly, as she is wasting my time. I need to go home and take a lavender bath with my rubber ducks.

Different is what I need right now. Leaving the bathroom with a solemn promise to myself, I hop on a different train and pray that whatever the future has for me will be good. After sitting, an older woman is scolding her daughter, whom she calls "Ashanti." Ashanti. I love it. Ashanti Dunbar. Perfect.

I say as I look at her but she wasn’t convinced. “I know you’ve done something. You are hiding something. What is it?” She asked in her intimidating voice, making me gulp. Okay, she is not playing around. “Fine, Hank’s fiancée might be cheating on him and he wanted to see me.” I tell her, conveniently leaving out Lucas Carter. I knew the minute she hears Hank’s name, her lid will blow off. I don’t know why, but Elizabeth and Danika really hated Hank. If he ever goes missing, the cops are going to knock on their doors first.

But then, he heard a voice from behind him. "Hi, can I help you?" the voice said. Delcan turned around, and there she was. Chantelle was standing there, looking at him with those piercing brown eyes. He couldn't speak, couldn't move. All he could do was stare at her, frozen in place. "Are you okay?" she asked, a hint of concern in her voice. Finally, he found his voice. "I'm fine," he said, his heart racing. "Can I help you?" she asked again. Delcan took a deepbreath and tried to think of something to say. "I was wondering if you might want to go out for coffee with me sometime," he blurted out. Chantelle looked at him, her expression unreadable. Delcan held his breath, waiting for her respo
