He shifted—not the full, monstrous transformation of the old story, but a controlled, tactical change. His fur was sleeker, his eyes sharper. He tackled the Assistant, his claws clashing against her light-blade with a sound of screeching metal. Rowan was a blur of gold, his sword sweeping in to take her from the side. "If she’s a script, then we’re the bugs she can’t catch!"

It was obvious that he was in pain, especially considering how his muscles were twitching uncontrollably. Lyra pursed her lips before pushing herself to sit up and wrapped her arms around him, hoping her embrace would ease some of his discomfort. Kian clung to her tightly, burying his face in her neck as he began to move, his eyes glinting as if he were possessed by someone evil.

Natasha’s POV I take off my coat and let it drop to the floor. Lachlan stands before me and he is a good one feet taller than me. He is pale and slim, his features are sharp and his pupils are red. He smiles and reveals his sharp canines, he runs his tongue over his teeth as he looks me up and down. I wonder if he is going to bite me. “Are you going to bite me and turn me into one of you?” I ask chewing my lower lip.

I noticed Alex uncross his arms, clenching his fists tightly by his sides. "Watch your mouth, boy." Alex warns. Still, Lucas shrugged, turning his back to Alex as he spoke to the crowd.

She continued screaming while slashing me. I felt pain, immense pain, but I couldn't even flinch a little. My heartbeat was now fading fast, but I felt something crawling on my body from everywhere. I wanted to laugh at my luck, but tears dropped from the corners of my eyes. Leeches were now crawling over my body, trying to suck as much blood as they could. "That husband of yours was supposed to kill you on your first night after marriage, but he decided to mark you and made you the most powerful Luna. Why? Why?" She continued screaming while recalling every big and small incident of my life.

But I'm too weak, and I can only watch as the battle rages on. I watch, transfixed, as Lucien starts to turn the tide of the battle. He lands blow after blow on Aurora, and she begins to look shocked. But then, she starts to laugh. It's a strange, maniacal laugh, and it sends a shiver down my spine. She raises her hands, and the air around her begins to glow with an eerie green light. I know that something bad is about to happen, and I'm powerless to stop it.

I blurt out. Cortèz starts to stroke his cane over the sand making a capital L. “Let.” He says to us while he writes the capital letter U. “Us.” Then strokes his cane again making a capital A. “All.” Writes the letter H. “Heal.” Lastly he finished with the capital U. “Unexpectedly.” Harry finishes. Cortèz smiles. “The island of LUAHU is home for people who wishes to heal. May the both of you heal from your pains and be awakened soon.” He walks away until he magically disappears fading.

Grunting, I raised his my to land another blow on the wolf’s head. Finish him off completely. “Finish him off, Leighton,” the Alpha’s voice interrupted, replacing Uncle Gordon's. Raising my hand to look at the alpha, I brought it down with even more force than I had the first time, only this time, it struck the ground merely inches from Troy’s face.
