“Hey, little lady. You’re Keira, I guess?” The baby gurgled, kicked her chubby little legs against Zoe’s body, totally selling her Mom out by smiling at Scars with every ounce of her cuteness. He returned her smile, then winked. “The way I hear it, kiddo, is you had a birthday yesterday. I also hear that you like bunnies. Is that true?” He cocked his head at Keira, then with a flourish, produced a pink rabbit from his jean jacket pocket. He handed it to Keira and she took it with a shriek of utter capitulation. Right away, she dropped the teething ring and bit the stuffed animal’s left ear, grinning widely the whole time. “Yeah, I guess my intel was solid.”

Pressed her face into my chest. Lydia smiled. It didn't reach her eyes. "Hello, Liyana. I'm Lydia. I'm here to talk to your mommy." Liyana didn't look at her. "I like your rabbit " Lydia said. "Does he have a name?" Liyana mumbled something into my shirt. "Bunny " I said. "Her name is Bunny." "Bunny." Lydia wrote something on her clipboard. "Liyana do you know why I'm here?" Liyana shook her head without lifting it.

Fiona As the bunny wiggles in my hold, I begin to laugh. It wants to be free so bad that I release it, much to Zev’s chagrin. He jerks, like he wants to follow the little animal, but before he can take chase, I grab his face and kiss him. “Wh-why did you let it go?” He questions, staring in the direction the animal hopped away. Then he turns his confused gaze on me. “I’ve already got the best cuddle buddy. Why would I need a bunny?”

“It's actually safe. All the animals here are regularly examined, vaccinated, well-fed, and cared for.” I immediately nodded without hesitation. Good enough for me. Kael stood up and slowly approached the bunny. It sniffed the air, then looked up. Kael bent slightly, ready to grab it. The bunny took one look at him… and immediately hopped away fast, straight into a nearby bush. Kael stared after it and cursed under his breath as he watched the bunny disappear inside the bush. I burst out laughing, feeling a sense of satisfaction. It felt good seeing something unsettling Kael.

The little bunny narrowed her eyes at me placing both her hand on either side of her waist like I snatched her favourite chocolate from her. Karan always gave me this look whenever I snatch his chocolate just to irritate him. I ignored her stares and turned my attention towards Juliet who seemed slightly uncomfortable. "Miss. Hamen haven't I told you clearly just pass the information to her family? Then why did you bring her?" I pointed my forefinger towards the little bunny who was giving me a murderous glare like her mother but the only difference is green orbs replaced by blue.

"Anyway, here is your stuffed bunny." Keith detached the linked hands of those stuffed bunnies and gives the pink ones to Rhianne. But he is surprised when she grabs the black bunny instead. She stares at it for a second before hugging it. "The black bunny is a male. See? It does not have any blush or curled lashes on its eyes." Rhianne explained while pointing at the embroidered eyes of the stuffed toy in her hand. "Seeing that their hands are linked when together, they must be a couple!" "Yeah? So your point is?"

She assured me. “Wow!” Kuu’s sudden screech broke the tension around us. He was delighted to see the bunny sitting at the table. “It’s so cute! Can I pet it?” He asked me pleadingly. I smiled as an approval. “Thank you!” He took it from the table and rubbed his fingers on its tummy. Anika drew near and joined Kuu to pet the little bunny. “It’s a boy,” Kuu whispered to Anika. “What’s his name?” Anika asked me.

He lies comfortably on my arm, he makes me think of Bruce, and all of a sudden I miss him. As Cassy sees me from a distance, I see her face light up. She seems eager to see the bunny properly.
