I hesitated to start this book as I had never ventured outside of the werewolf realm, but I'm glad that I did, and I'm glad that you took the chance to take this adventure with me. This was the longest book I had written. I'm happy that many of you stuck around to see the end of their story. Some of you want to know what afterlife awaits them, and I am not closing the door on that part. But many characters want to be written, so I want to give them a chance first. Perhaps one day I'll be able to go back and write about that part of their lives. For now, we will leave it as is and move on to Patrea&Lucius' story.

Obviously the character will return in Book 2, stay hooked. Hell is a realm, under the afterlife where those that died as sinners go to after death to serve their punishment as long as eternity is concerned. Under the Born By Power book, Hell is tagged as the same as explained here. It serves as the land of punishment for mortals and even extends to supernatural beings. BRIDGE BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH & AFTERLIFE The theory of afterlife proves that existence doesn't end at death. It proves that death isn't the end. This theory is applied in Born By Power and firstly introduced in Chaos And Apocalypse.

“I’d like that.” “You sure?” “Yes. I want to.” They talked a little longer—about small things, about dinner plans they’d never find time for—and when the call ended, the room felt suddenly empty again. She placed the phone beside her on the couch, next to the signed contract. Two different lives, sitting inches apart. The thought settled heavily in her chest. She whispered to the quiet apartment, “It’s just work. Nothing else.” But even to herself, it sounded uncertain.

Not one person looked back at me. I quietly closed the door and left that suffocating place. One day left until my death. I was homeless now. My whole life, I'd lived for others, never truly stopping to live for myself. Before my body completely gave out, I dialed a number. Then the world plunged into darkness.

My voice was so calm that it even scared me. "Amelie died—that was her price. You have your own price to pay." Twinkle stayed silent for a long time, then lowered his head. Tears fell and hit the tile floor. "I understand. I'm sorry." With that, he turned and left, disappearing from my sight. I found a burial plot for Amelie and laid her to rest. She'd made a lot of mistakes. She lived brightly and boldly, never expecting to die so miserably. Later, I saw a news report.

She watched the three of them—the ancient, the immortal, and the newly born—and thought about what it meant to be part of something that had never existed before. She thought about the novel she had read in her previous life, the one she had despised, the one that had given her a villainess to be exhausted by and a plot to navigate and an ending she had found unsatisfying. The novel is gone now. The story it had contained had been overwritten, replaced by something else, something that had no script and no predetermined conclusion and no guarantee of survival. She thought: this is what it feels like to be alive in an unwritten world.

She isn’t going to make it. After the death of her father, Viola sold their house. She has everything planned already, yet killing her father was not part of the plan. But as she perceived, it is the only way to get through her life’s misery. And that counts for one final act, to kill her father.

The hematoma expands within the skull and presses on the brain, causing her death. Humans don't get to live forever, but their legacy and what they did in their lifetime will. They may be not able to bring all the richness in the world and their precious possession in the afterlife, but their hatred, sorrows, vengeance, misery, despair, and unfinished business from the living will haunt them in perpetuity. Death may be inevitable, but it's not the end. It's the beginning of a new life that can either bring peace and serenity to our spirit or abomination and damnation far worse than death itself.

There was a snap, and she let out a gasp, eyes flying wide open. "M-my neck! It hurts!" She cried out. "In order for you to come back, you have to heal how you died. You died of a broken neck. It's healing now, and the bone snapped back in place." He explained, sounding apologetic. Cece briefly saw stars, and she dropped to her knees, letting go of Death's hands. But he kept a hand on her back. "I don't need you getting lost in this part of the afterlife." He explained
