Zara glanced nervously between us, biting her lip, while Esmeralda, still shaken from earlier, avoided looking at me entirely.
I shifted Lyra slightly in my arms, keeping my eyes locked on Mirena. "The next Lunar Games will start tomorrow," I announced, my voice echoing through the clearing. "Or whenever Lyra is well enough to participate. We will continue as planned."
Mirena opened her mouth as if to protest, but I cut her off, my tone hardening. "If anyone has a problem with that, you can speak up now."
