Sought his daughter at great speed And the whistlin' gypsy rover. He came at last to a mansion fine Down by the river Claydee. And there was music and there was wine For the gypsy and his lady. Once Upon a Story of Us

Once Upon a Story of Us

"It's inconvenient now. Speak in Haranese." There was a deep inhale on the other end before Alex finally responded in Haranese, "Did you really get legally married to Rebecca? What are you thinking? Years ago, you went blind saving her, and she repaid you by leaving you at your lowest and running off with another man. "She nearly ruined you! And now you're getting back together with her?" Evelyn's mind instantly translated the unfamiliar words. As she processed them, an unbearable chill spread through her body, making her feel like she had fallen into an ice-cold abyss.

UNDER THE DON’S PROTECTION

UNDER THE DON’S PROTECTION

“You sound like her.” “Good. Someone has to.” Evening comes soft. We eat outside—grilled fish, fresh bread, fruit so ripe it stains fingers. Conversation drifts: coral bleaching data, new encryption standards, someone’s toddler learning to swim. Ordinary. Precious. After the little ones are in bed, the adults linger around the fire pit. Someone starts the ritual we’ve kept alive since Luca’s time: one story per person, true, no embellishment. Elias goes first. “I found an old audio file last month. Luca reading a bedtime story to Elena when she was small. His voice was younger than I ever heard it. He did all the voices—dragon, knight, even the princess. Terrible French accent.”

The Underworld Trials of Luna

The Underworld Trials of Luna

“Can you like, show me? What you mean, when you think of a mermaid?” I glance at Anton and then put my coffee on the table and move closer to Laila, conjuring a children’s story book in my hands as I do. It’s one of my favorites from when I was a little girl – a story about a mermaid who falls in love with a Prince who lives on land. She gives up her ocean life to go and live at his side.

awesome continuity... please if you continue for the other characters, show it in the description like you did for the book 2. there's another book with the same names of Ellie and Dominic and I was confused. I really hope there's a Rafe and Mark book.

I cannot say nearly enough positive things about this book. It’s both a stand alone incredible story, as well as an amazing addition to the universe of “alphas surrogate”. I hope the author continues this family’s stories through other characters lives as well. Her writing is my favorite on this app

Center Land (Book 3 of Kendra's Journey)

Center Land (Book 3 of Kendra's Journey)

Mouthing the words, ‘I love you’, he closed the door behind him. Arthur studied her for a moment. Her quickness to defend the place before he’d had an opportunity to say what he thought about it didn’t go unnoticed. He hadn’t had any firsthand exposure to Center Land, but he’d heard varied tales about it. They ranged from brainwashing the children who were being trained as soldiers for the surface to segregating the children who showed promise from the ones who were lacking. He hoped that the stories about them disposing of those lacking in the most horrific ways imaginable -mainly, feeding them to the ever threatening beasts that roamed about- were just stories, but he had his concerns.

The King's faceless wife.

The King's faceless wife.

I started playing with my fingers as Prince Barlion opened the covered of the book. "Why were you looking for this book?" He asked after reading out the title of the book- The lands beyond the five kingdoms. "I wanted to see of the scary tales about the lands beyond the five kingdoms is true." I whispered, unable to trust my voice. "Father had told me about Lord King Sorrow and Lady Winter Sorrow's journey. It is brave of them." Prince Barlion commented, forcing my eyes back to his. "I wish they didn't leave because of me. They're out there for something that is not even certain."

I’ve been hocked on this story. Glad I started reading this book when it was completed though because I also hate with a passion the waiting for updates. At first this Bar, future King needed a royal kick in the behind did he really think she had a choice in any of this.

I LOVE this book! It’s the only book I’ve really kept up with that wasn’t complete yet when I started reading it I waited for the daily updates and I’m not the waiting type. Usually I lose interest after awhile but this book hooked me in and continued to keep me hook. Thank you for this amazing book

The Chronicles of Wolves and Fire

The Chronicles of Wolves and Fire

She pondered. "Yes, Almera is one of the princess' closest friends," Finn finally answered. She inhaled deeply. "Are you familiar with the legend of Rutakoppchen?" She said, "I had a copy when I was a little child." He nodded. My mother told me it was the only one in the world......" She told him the story of her book, beginning with her ninth birthday and ending that afternoon in Macky's shop. Her innermost weakness made every sentence a struggle. Finn appeared to be ready to send her home, and now she was investing more.

THE CURSED ONE

THE CURSED ONE

She wasn’t scared. Hesitantly Laura walked up to her knelt beside her leaving a respectful space between them enough not to startle her. She told the child. “I didn’t expect to see you here” Silence. Silver eyes stared at Laura. The girl slowly closed the book slowly and oddly tilted her head in an odd way. Old soul. Laura noted. Laura glanced at the book“Tale of Moon-born wolves”. “I loved that book, especially the one about the wolf who talked to the stars.” Laura whispered

The Hidden Luna Queen

I could feel him open up to me upon hearing my confession. “Believe me…” I murmured. “I know better than anyone how you must feel.” He gazed at me. “It’s no way to live, isn’t it?” I huffed a short, awkward laugh in response, focusing my full attention back on stacking the books. This time, the titles caught my attention, ranging from the history of our kingdom to the customs, cultures, and histories of our neighbors: the Vixens and the Bear-Shifters. And then there was one book in particular about something that I had never heard of before… nothing like anything Father ever discussed or that I’d read of in fairytales.

Liked this story. I read it because I loved one of the author's previous stories, so I felt like I was going to love this one too. And it was so true! However, I'd love it even more if you could update? Please? I'm thrilled to know what would happen next! Please! Pretty please!

How often are the chapters added? As an avid reader I'm loving the story, but now I'm having to wait for more chapters. The top ups are not cheap so I cannot afford to use them to start another book. Also I hope this book is not short lived, meaning so many unanswered questions involving characters.
