HELLBOUND
I tilted my head, about to continue when he laughed and mocked me,
“Kind of,” he continued to laugh as we walked.
“What’s so funny?” I asked with a smile on my face and stopped walking.
He took a hand from his pocket and put it on his neck before responding, “You’re calling a demon nice, Abby,” he raised his voice an octave for the next bit, “it’s funny,” he shrugged as he continued smiling at me.
He really wasn’t letting go of the demon thing. “I don’t believe that you’re a demon,” I said very seriously to him and he stopped laughing but maintained a smile and raised one eyebrow at me.
