Le Petit Prince Book Novels & Stories

Some of the books are in Latin and other foreign languages. I retrieve a copy of The Little Prince from the shelf and smile as I open the book and realize it’s a first edition. A very old book for sure, but one of my favorite books of all time. I learned a lot of life lessons reading that book as I grew up. And I read it at least once a year. It doesn’t really matter how old you are, that’s a must-read.

Okay? "Kay! "Good." "And you, little prince, what is your name? " "Aron, Prince Amir. " "How old are you? " "Three! " I smiled when he showed his three fingers. "How did you see the mosquitoes? " "It tries to bite me, so I burn it. " "Good. Suppose something tries to hurt you. You should protect yourself because your parents are not around, and since the three of you can see the mosquitoes, you watch the others, okay? You need to burn them but be careful. You might hurt the other babies. "

I grab it and cuddle up on my bed with the book. I pull the blanket up to my waist and open the book on the first page. I can’t remember the last time I read this book, but I know it will bring me back to memories from when I was a kid because I remember reading it to Layla.

The book he wanted, but couldn't find time to go and search for it in stores. For one brief moment, something changed in his expression.

Hands searching for grip on the second shelf. Up one level. Then another. Three. Four. Five. Now he was high enough. His hand could reach The Little Prince. His fingers touched the book's spine with small triumph. But when he pulled the book out, there was resistance. The book was stuck between two other books packed tight. Junior pulled harder. The book came free suddenly. And the momentum made Junior lose his balance. He tried to grab the shelf to steady himself. But his hand slipped. His small body fell backward in horrifying slow motion.

Peace. Henry sat cross-legged on the floor, a thick spell book open in front of him. He turned pages like they were treasure maps, eyes lighting up every few minutes when he found something new. He beckoned Lila over with a grin, holding up the open text like a secret, and she knelt beside him to peer at the symbols. I watched her lean in close, brushing her hair behind her ear with that delicate, absent gesture she always did when she was focused. Henry pointed to something on the page and Lila laughed softly, shoulders loose, unguarded.
