The lost Goddess and her mysterious Alpha

The lost Goddess and her mysterious Alpha

She looked at me with confusion for a moment, and then a slow smile spread on her face. "Women want their men to spoil them and always ask for more. And here you are, saying that you are going to pay him back. I understand your wish to be independent, but when someone gifts you something wholeheartedly, don't think of paying them back. If you want, you can buy gifts for him in return and there is no need it has to be just as costly as what he bought you. Even a simple handkerchief bought just for him would be enough. It is not the amount that matters but the intention," she said in a serious tone, so at odds with her usual jovial attitude.

SATOU, D.
This is interesting. I gave it 10. Because I like the story. Even I'm not into female lead yet I found it interesting. What is the goddess Artemis leads to? Just from reading the synopsis it tickles the surprises! Thank you for sharing this. Imma recommend this to my other friends.

Bit of a long winded read, lots of filler sentences, only at chapter 15 and already changed from a wolf to a tiger, either needs to re-edit the book and fix mistakes or remove from warewolf genre not worth the money spent so far, but will give it couple more chapters to see where it goes

My mate chose my sister

My mate chose my sister

I sat in the archive room with the afternoon light around me and thought about the specific mathematics of it, the way one thing produced another produced another, tray to friendship to pack to council seat to book to letters to the wolf who read the letter and finally understood she was not alone in it. All of it. A chain. Built from sitting down. And refusing to move. Which was, I thought, the most important thing any wolf had ever done for me. And the most important thing I could ever do for anyone else. Show up. Stay. Make the staying so ordinary it requires no acknowledgment. That was the whole inheritance. Right there. In one morning in a communal hall in the Blackwood pack. Six years

Twentyfold Payback After a Potluck

Twentyfold Payback After a Potluck

I'd have to be a fool to front the money without giving it any thought. All I could say was, "I've been financially tight lately. I don't think I'll have enough to cover the groceries." With a look of realization, Lucy said apologetically, "Sorry about that, Jess. I misunderstood you. I'll definitely come by earlier this Sunday to help you!" That night, Lucy began messaging away in the group chat we had with our colleagues. She asked everyone if they had any food preferences before also asking everyone to pay up in advance. As I scrolled through the lively chat, the discomfort I felt eased a little.

Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!

Your Honor, I Want A Divorce!

"I'm also grateful for the fashion advice, I think I should pay for that." "You should but don't worry, it's on the house. You have already bought more than enough from me today." I smiled. "Uhm... I don't know, I really hate the feeling of being indebted to people. No matter how many times they tell me it's a freebie, I'll always be reminded that you gave me something and I didn't pay for it. "So, allow me to pay you for your service. Since you obviously won't take my money, I'd like to pay you back with free service as well." He had a gentle smile on his face as he spoke.

Back to the Past, I Gave Them a Future

"Let me through! I need to find someone!" The guard didn't budge. "Sir, buy a ticket first. Once you've got one, you can go in." Grinding his teeth, he had no choice but to go back and get a ticket. Thankfully, the bus I was on was already full. By the time he came back, the bus was just about to pull out. He threw himself in front of it, waving his ticket frantically. "Stop! I need to get on this bus!" "Sorry, sir, this one's full. You'll need to wait for the next."

The Billionaire's Stubborn Genius

The Billionaire's Stubborn Genius

Jeff suddenly said, "That day you gave that man a million-dollar ransom to save me, and I've always remembered that. "And?" Jeff said, "I was supposed to pay you back that money. But, as you know, I don't have any money on me right now, so I can't pay it back." The president of the Howard Group was crying poor to someone, if his employees or competitors knew about this, they were afraid they would faint from laughing. "You had saved me, This time let's consider it as me repaying your favor." Jeff smiled and said, "A favor is a favor, money is money, and this is money I have to repay."

"I appreciate that, Mateo, but I'm not here because I want handouts." He grinned, and chuckled. "And that's exactly why I'm giving it to you. Now, take it. You can pay me back later if this hurts your pride." He hadn't retracted his hand. I scoffed. "What exactly do you mean by 'pay you back?' Huh?" In the world of the underground, I learned real quickly that there was only one way a man meant by 'paying him back,' and I would have walked out of Mateo's house right now if that was what he was implying.

The Moonshine Task Force Series

"It's just hard to accept so much charity." I tilt my head back and take a deep breath, calling on the patience I usually have. "No one is doing this because they feel sorry for you. They're doing it because they want you to succeed. When you do, we'll all celebrate with you. We've all needed help in our lives, all we're doing is paying it forward. When you can, you will. Simple as that. Okay?" "Okay." She nods. "Now let's get back in there and get you moved in."
