TERMS OF THE HEART

TERMS OF THE HEART

The email came from Sofia Reyes, "Executive Assistant to Mr Cole," using the word "opportunity" the way people use it when they mean something other than a job. I went. The building was colder in daylight, all that glass letting the grey March sky in without warmth. Sofia met me in the lobby — sharp bob, sharper suit — and led me to a private elevator. "Don't let him rush you into anything before you understand what he's offering," she said. "He does that. Fastest path from problem to solution."

Wrong Pair of Eyes

Wrong Pair of Eyes

He held her like she was something worth being careful with. She held him like she had no intention of letting go. Both things simultaneously. That was what they’d built. Both things. Later. The city quiet. His arm around her. Her head on his chest. His heartbeat under her ear. Slow. Steady. Real. “Mia,” he said. “Mm.” “The fourth sentence,” he said. “In the presentation. The one I wasn’t certain about.” “Lead with it,” she said. “Lead with it,” he agreed.

Star-Crossed Wolves: Silver Moon Rising

Star-Crossed Wolves: Silver Moon Rising

"Bea, you have your mother's tactical brilliance and natural command presence. But you also have something she had to suppress—the ability to genuinely care about the people you're leading." "Caring about people makes you responsible for their welfare. Responsible for their happiness, their safety, their success." Bea's voice was quiet with the weight of that responsibility. "It's easier to make hard decisions when you don't care about the individuals affected by those decisions." "Easier, but not better. Strength without heart is just brutality, as I've tried to teach you both over the years." Marcus leaned back in his chair, his expression thoughtful. "Your mother learned to lead through f

Captured heart

Captured heart

Mateo, the feared and ruthless leader, was now her subordinate, and yet, the man her heart had chosen. The breeze gently swayed her hair, its cool caress a stark contrast to the turmoil brewing within her. As she stood there, she felt like she couldn't breathe, the air trapped in her lungs, refusing to escape. The truth was sinking in, and she was struggling to come to terms with it.

Broken by One, Desired by All

“That’s different…” “Is it?” I cut in, my voice rising. “You’ve always taught me to follow my heart, and let my brain guide me. You said a true Alpha leads with both… strength and wisdom. Instinct and reason.” I took another step closer, my hands unclenching, my voice dropping to something raw, something real. “I’m doing exactly that, Father. I’m listening to my heart. And my heart is telling me I can’t do this. I won’t.”

Shirley Sarchett
I usually don’t do reviews however I feel like this book may get overlooked. I didn’t know how I would feel reading this book at first but the author has a fantastic way of writing which is easy to read and picture. I think the romantic relationships in this book is more tasteful than I expected!
Beowulf
I am enchanted by this novel. Articulated to inspire your imagination. If the author continues on this epic writing journey then we have a top author blooming before our eyes. Well done & please continue with this beautiful tale.

Crave Me,Kill Me

She stepped forward. “It’s presence.” “And if we’re brave enough to stop managing it We might finally learn how to lead with it.” The room was silent. No votes cast. No protocols uploaded. Just the scroll of her final line, projected slowly across the Archive’s dome ceiling: “Let the feeling lead.” The next morning, Eden didn’t check for approval ratings. She didn’t need to. The shift was already happening. The Archive scrolls updated quietly: :: EMOTIONAL FEEDBACK CATEGORY ADDED: UNTRANSLATED / VALIDATED

he asked, pointing to himself. I nodded. “You. You’re my son, Elian. That means you’re next in line to be Alpha. It’s a big responsibility, but I believe in you.” For a moment, he was silent, taking it all in. Then he asked, “What do I have to do to be a good leader?” I smiled, proud of his question. “A good leader listens, learns, and always puts the needs of his people first. But most importantly,” I added, placing a hand over his chest, “a good leader leads with his heart.”

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Then her fingers curl tighter behind my neck, pulling me in without even thinking about it. She always leads with her heart. I do not know if she realizes it, but I see it in everything she does. The way her lashes flutter when she is shy. The way her voice shifts when she feels safe. The way she leans in before she realizes she moved. I lift her chin with my fingers, slow and careful, guiding her face toward mine. Her eyes meet mine, and something in her gaze softens so much that I feel it under my skin.

Black Dwarf
The storyline has been good so far. ML & FML character development were good though it was stretchy between 70 and 100 - too much repetition and back & forth. Updates are frequent. I look fwd to author completing the story and me finish reading it which doesn’t happen often. I provided my support.
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

Snapshot of a CEO's heart

Snapshot of a CEO's heart

I think my heart stops completely. A strong movement. Strong enough for Maisie to stop talking. Maisie looks down at her stomach before looking back at me. I can practically see the argument happening inside her head. Fear. Trust. Hurt. Hope. Then slowly she reaches for my hand. The gesture is so unexpected that I freeze. “Here,” she says quietly. My heart nearly explodes. She places my hand against her stomach. For a second nothing happens. Then suddenly— Another kick. Bigger this time.
