Leah Roberts Missing Person Novels & Stories

When he looked at Leah, it was like he'd seen a ghost. "The person who took Wystan... was Ms. Lambert." "What are you talking about? That's impossible. She's been with me the whole time!" Shawn immediately assumed his men were making excuses. But the lobby footage showed someone identical to Leah taking Wystan away. The woman was covered in scars. Older. More seasoned. Like a version of Leah who had lived through another decade. "What is going on...?" Leah's voice shook. Without waiting for another word, she rushed out and ordered everyone to search for Wystan immediately.

She didn’t talk much as I looked her over… Though, she avoided eye contact. “Here’s a cloth to cover up with. Your sister is waiting for you in Jamira’s bedroom. Theodore will be back soon with clothes.” She shook her head okay, and went to the room, only saying thank you before she left. I went down the stairs again… Ready for the last child. I was surprised by what I saw though. “Do you think Layla will keep us? I want to prove to her we are useful. That we can help.” Tempest was talking to Jamira. I slid against the wall, hoping they did not hear me.

The only time I've seen her since the last time. I went to the FBI to search for her, but I was told she quit! The children's orphanage said that she was last seen two days after Leo's death and never again. Ryan came to me, and we talked. Leo was his friend too, and he was devastated. And Jada is like a mother to him but he's sure She'll be back to him according to some letter she left behind. I asked for the letter, but Ryan refused, saying no one could see it, but he read it to me later on.

Not in her expression, not in her posture, but somewhere underneath both, the particular shift of someone who has just heard precisely what they were waiting for. "Who?" she asked quietly. Lydia told her. Elena Crane. Leo's ex-wife. The woman who had vanished seven months ago without leaving anything behind but unanswered questions. She laid it out plainly, the face, the mannerisms, the way Roberta held herself in a room like a woman who had spent a long time deciding exactly what people were allowed to see. The feeling that had been sitting in her chest since that first boardroom meeting, persistent and impossible to shake no matter how many times she tried to reason it away.

Volunteered in shelters on her days off. No license renewal after 2013. No known employment since. But we found an old phone number tied to an application for a women’s shelter in Long Beach. River made the call. Leah’s POV (Recounted) I remember the voice. Soft. Measured. Too mature for a teenager. “Hi,” River said. “I think you knew my mom.” I didn’t speak for a while. Then I asked, “Was she Rachel?” There was a breath on the other end.

"And Leah is missing! The guard at her building said she ran out of here crying. I am inside her apartment right now. The door was wide open, her family is gone, and her things are all over the floor. Dad said someone is threatening her!" The line goes completely quiet for a moment. "Damien's phone," Marcus says quietly. "That is why her calls did not go through. The building signal was bad and his phone died. Emily, look around the kitchen. Did she leave anything?" I look around the messy room and walk over to the counter. "There is nothing... wait. Leah's iPad is here. It is unlocked. I think it is connected to her phone. Maybe I can find something in her messages."

It's been a week without Laura and to this effect not an easy one for the Roberts' family and Laura's friends especially Alixes who held her dying friend in her arms to the hospital. She had been traumatized after witnessing such brutal site and had since been under a psychological therapy to help calm her. Investigations to help bring the culprits to book also proved futile. Everyone was made to believe she committed suicide out of frustration; this bugged Mya's mind.

Leah kissed the child’s head, and the boys smiled at how cute the little girl was. Gabriel walked over to Leah, placing his hands on her upper arms and rubbing gently. “We heard there was an attack. What happened? Were you hurt?” Leah sighed, then smiled. “I’m fine now. Don’t worry. Most of the pack were unharmed, but they lost most of their houses from the fire.” Gabriel’s brows scrunched in confusion. “Who was it, and why did they attack?” Leah shook her head sadly. “It was Theo Blackwell.”

he said, looking away. Leah forced a smile despite the pain in her chest. “Okay. I understand.” She stood up and walked to the door. Then she turned to look at Noah again. “Grandpa Ambrose is missing. The receptionist said he was never admitted in the nursing center. He's not in their records,” she briefed Noah and opened the door. “But you saw him yourself, right?” Noah said sharply, stopping Leah from stepping out the door. “I did,” she said. “Jeremy and you are the only ones helping me out with this and you're pulling away now. I totally understand, though. It's fine,” she said.

I said into the phone "Good day ma'am Zoey! How can I help you?" "I need you to arrest someone for me. First, you'll need to find solid proofs that can put her behind bars. She's behind the attempted murder on Skylar Brandon. She also killed Mira, a worker in Andrian's company and I believe you will find out other things she has done once you begin your investigation" "Alright ma'am. Who is this person?" "Leah Roger!"
