Left Behind on My Wedding Day

Left Behind on My Wedding Day

How could my balance be zero? I checked again and again, logging out and refreshing the app, but the result didn’t change. It was still zero. A cab I managed to hail slowed briefly before the driver sneered at me. "No money? Then don’t waste my time." The car sped off, leaving me standing there humiliated. I thought long and hard, and only one explanation came to mind: my parasitic family. At a time when I needed support the most, they had already hidden their knives, ready to strike when I was at my weakest.

You Cheated In Front Of My Daughter?!

You Cheated In Front Of My Daughter?!

“So, it’s not Selena’s fault for putting an adult toy within a toddler’s reach? And it’s not any of these two’s fault for being together in the master bedroom? It’s not their fault either for neglecting Dolce for three days? I’m the one at fault for putting a stun baton in the entryway drawer?” Zanda moved her lips but could not say a single thing more. The police cast her a glance and said coldly, “The evidence shows that Mr. Wilson showed no intent to cause harm. However, we’ll continue looking into how the girl was neglected for a prolonged period of time.” Selena finally panicked. She tried to sit up. “That’s not true! I didn’t ignore Dolce! I was just… too tired! I usually take good car

NEGLECTED WIFE BECAME THE MOST WANTED

NEGLECTED WIFE BECAME THE MOST WANTED

A voice replied; I already knew it was Theodore. “The question I wish should be asked now is what really are you guys doing in this deluded area? This warehouse has been abandoned for years now, and I can really see some drips of blood,” I lied. “If nothing is being hidden by you, why don't you come out and clear yourself?” I added. “What's really going on? How on earth would the police figure out that we would be here? I would call them,” a voice stammered.

Buried and Forgotten

Buried and Forgotten

James murmured to himself. After checking the time, he put a hand to his forehead in exasperation at his forgetfulness. He had been too anxious. Celeste was probably still at kindergarten. He grabbed the treats again and drove over to wait outside the kindergarten. Children began to come out one after another, but Celeste never appeared. James got out of the car and headed in. One of the teachers on duty, Mindy Gibson, recognized him immediately. "Hello there. Liam isn't here today," Mindy said.

The Forgotten Mark

The Forgotten Mark

"You don't have much in your luggage either." Even my third brother Aden groaned in annoyance. "How stingy can Duke be? We three gave him plenty, but he can't even bear to get you food and clothes?" I couldn't help but laugh. "Those things are frivolous, so I'm not bothered to bring those back." Possessions, partners—if it stopped bearing consequence, they should be disposed of right away. Dad nodded, smiling adoringly as he tousled my hair. "That's right! Nothing matters now that you're home."

Family’s Regret After I Left

Family’s Regret After I Left

How desperately he hoped to see my figure at some street corner. He would definitely rush over to hold me, apologize to me, and tell me that from now on, he would always stand on my side. When dusk crept up, with nowhere else to go, he curled up by the iron gate of the abandoned observatory on the city outskirts. This had once been the sacred place where I brought him to watch meteor showers as children. Now there were only crows, pecking at the remnants of memories. Nothing but desolation remained. His phone vibrated hotly in his pocket. Father's voice sounded like oil-soaked rope:

Promises Forgotten

I sagged forward. “Oh fuck no.” My stool turned and I looked up at a very upset Zach. “You do not get to blame yourself. If you don’t blame me for you losing your arm, you don’t get to blame yourself for this situation.” He bent down, our faces inches apart. “He was okay. Elliot was okay.” “I’m his mother, Z! I couldn’t protect him! He has night terrors because of it! He was two!” “I can’t image the things they did to you too! Who was there to protect you? You were alone! Elliot had more protection than you did! It never should have happened. My father…my father and his fucked up decisions are behind this. It’s all on him.”

Deb Eff
I absolutely despise this author (but not really) Their writing drags me through the full gamut of emotions: feeling everything Alpha's Blind Luna made me lose my damn mind. I have to psyche myself up to read each book but I never regret it
Elle Hannan
Well how do I start this, but you have to read it but warning!!! Bring a lot of tissues, you will need them. Wonderful writing, in love with both leads character and their friends. Beautiful story line, not too short or long, cry, sad, pain, laugh and love. Worth reading & spending. Highly recommend

Have them with your friend,” he smiled as Ryan left. He totally forgot about his friend
