Outside the panoramic viewport, the starry void began to violently distort, as if an invisible, colossal hand was tearing the fabric of space apart. Three massive, diamond-shaped cruisers materialized in the sector, bringing with them a suffocating, crushing aura of dread. They were once the proud, invincible warships of the Golden Empire, but now, their perfectly symmetrical hulls were shattered, dripping with a sickening, dark violet miasma. 3. "Brace!" I screamed. The western horizon didn't just light up; it caught fire. Breaking through the cloud cover over the glowing, mutated jungle was a fleet of unimaginable scale. At the center were three Solaris-Class Dreadnoughts massive, floating cities of pristine white durasteel and gleaming gold, suspended on anti-gravity repulsors that burned with the intensity of small stars. Flanking them were hundreds of sleek, dart-like escort fighters and drop-ships.

I scoffed as I placed Aaron on the bed and stood up. “No, Darius,” I argued. “We need an army. Deirdre is the scorned Luna of a pack, just in case you’ve forgotten. You know firsthand what the soldiers of Tyrell’s pack can do, and if she can turn them against us, which I’m sure she can and will, then what do we have to defend ourselves with?” I saw him considering it and nodding. “And her father was a bounty hunter. One of many. I was the only witness to his murder. We escaped, Darius. How do you think it makes us look to the other bounty hunters now that we’re out and free while one of them is dead?” I asked.

As soon as she finished her words Rana Pratap got an imaginary hard slap on his face. He understood one point very clearly that he is himself bringing the biggest gale in his palace. He has to take this risk. Either his Legacy would be destroyed by it or it would survive. But, if he doesn't bring her, anyhow his Legacy will be shattered.
