Slowly, he pulled the blade from its sheath and brought it toward my face. I closed my eyes and held my breath. Relax, Lila. He's not going to kill you with it... I repeated to myself before cautiously opening my eyes again to stare at the most intimidating blade I had ever seen. It looked incredibly heavy, as though it carried the weight of an anchor. I wasn't even sure I could lift it with both hands. "Do you want to know why this blade is called the Blade of Poison?" he asked, raising it into the air to admire it.

Projected to reach zero within days. Cain rose from the stone table and unbuckled his blade, laying it down. He spent the entire afternoon checking every route leading to the tomb and clearing the remaining anti-blood legion outposts along the edge of the ice plains. DAWN POV It was over! Good God, it was finally over. I had a full claim over Blade Inc. My mother’s legacy; that was left to her by her parents and ancestors before them. A dynasty that carried the blood and sweat of all the Blades. And it was all thanks to the world’s most badass woman I have ever known.
