Smiling in satisfaction, she licked her lower lips and then returned to her. “Snap a selfie too.” “No!” “Okay,” she agreed instantly, rolling her eyes. Shaking her head again, Leilani moved over to the hanger, picked up her apron and then wore it around her.

Chapter 3: 3 years later Leilani’s POV “You got this, Leilani.” I shook my head, trying to veer off the anxiety that came with being back. It’s been three years since I stepped foot into New York City. The city where my heart and life was shattered beyond repair.
