The Soul Swap

The Soul Swap

I started to pick at her for every little thing. The truth… was beyond what I could bear. I desperately wished I could return to my own body, to avenge Madeline, and then make it right with her. Finally, I made it to my bedroom and had a moment to catch my breath. Only then did the news of Madeline’s attempted suicide hit me again. When I first heard, I had been heartbroken, torn apart by grief. But I had also felt resentment, blaming her for being so thoughtless, for taking her life over something trivial.

Reborn Felon? Watch Me Ruin Their Plan

Reborn Felon? Watch Me Ruin Their Plan

However, in the background, I could hear a woman's muffled, suppressed giggle. "Are you still working at the bank, Roxie? I'm grabbing dinner with some friends tonight, so I won't be coming home. You'll have to figure out dinner on your own, okay?" I could distinctly hear the subtle noises Jasmine Powell was intentionally making on the other end of the line, and it made my stomach twist with visceral disgust. In my previous life, these were the two people I trusted the most—and together, they had sent me straight to hell. Suppressing the emotions churning inside me, I kept my tone deadpan. "Okay."

The Abandoned Son

The Abandoned Son

"Yeah. Let's go home." She opened the car door for me, and I got in. A thermos sat in the passenger seat. I twisted off the lid — ginger tea. I drank it in small sips, looking out the window as the hospital shrank in the side mirror, smaller and smaller, until it was just a point that disappeared around the corner. I knew, from then on, my world would never have room for them again.

BOUGHT BY CRUELEST ALPHA

BOUGHT BY CRUELEST ALPHA

“I choose this.” Her face doesn’t change. But the profound loneliness in her eyes deepens, becomes a final, understanding sorrow. She fades, and the void she leaves behind is a relief. We are solidifying. Our timeline is stabilizing, the ghosts flickering out one by one as we emotionally renounce them. And then, the final ghost appears. It’s not of us. It’s the Warden.

CEO's Hidden Marriage

Leena sat on the couch, her body slumped with the weight of her emotions. She held the photo frame close to her heart, tears streaming down her face as she poured out her heart to her deceased husband, Vivian. The room was filled with a palpable sense of grief and pain, the air heavy with the weight of her sorrow. "Vivian," she whispered, her voice quivering with a mixture of sadness and frustration. "I don't understand why this had to happen. Viaan, our own son, he kept his relationship with Kiara hidden from me. It hurts, Vivian. It hurts so much."

Skeletons Of The Marital Closet

Skeletons Of The Marital Closet

" Summer said to herself while paying her respects. Her eyes were red and swollen. In the past two days, Summer had shed so many tears that she was almost blind from crying. Next to her, Joe sighed, and after a long while, he only said one sentence, "My condolences." Perhaps for Gale, death in Sea City was a rebirth somewhere else! She no longer misses anything here. Shawn stood in the middle of the mourning hall. His face was haggard, his eyes were black and blue, and the black suit made him tall and straight, looking like a tree facing the wind.

It's a good book. But it's too slow burn. So many chapters and still ongoing.... I wish for authornim to find conclusion to end this book. Hopefully a HE together for Shawn and Gale with their twins.

If you haven’t started this book yet, so don’t start at all. I am not saying is bad but it’s so slow and boring. The writer starts perfectly and sadly drag it around a year!!! It hasn’t finished yet. You can skip several chapters with no concern because nothing special is happening.

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

It didn't come from the air; it came from the ground, the walls, and the shard inside me. **[CRITICAL ERROR: PHYSICAL LAYER CONTAMINATED]** **[INITIATING REFORMAT: SEASON 2 PROTOCOL]** **[THEME: THE VOID BEYOND]** “Season 2?” Rowan gasped. He had managed to crawl a few inches closer to me, though his legs were now nothing but shimmering polygons. “They’re starting over. They’re going to erase the Earth to make a new set.” “They can’t,” I whispered, though the wind took my words. “This is the only world left.”

Two Souls

Two Souls

She had simply disappeared into thin air as if she’d never been there in the first place. Abigail’s eyes flew open, she was physically drained and a sort of humming filled her entire body. A humming that she had never experienced before. A humming that spoke to her soul and made her feel a great loss. A sense of sadness washed over Abigail and a tear slid down her cheek. *** Caleb and Leah stood by one of the bonfires chatting about all that they were going to get up to during their summer break. They were both going to be working at Silver Stardust, so they would be spending each day in each other’s company.

The Final Goodbye

With that, I walked away for good. Just me, my scars, and my sorrow. They only felt the weight of my departure when I was truly out of sight. I left with nothing but a single photograph. "Kelvin just doesn't get it," Jeff mused, his voice tinged with frustration. "Throwing a fit like that, what does he hope to gain? Even if he storms back to that orphanage, it won't be long before it's torn down for new buildings. Why go through all this trouble?

Beyond Fate

Beyond Fate

The sky glimmered with stars, and soft singing drifted through the air. “Look, Gigi!” Charlene pointed. “Over there—thousands of Fates are walking. Look at the banners! The realm’s crest!” Two caskets adorned with royal symbols were being carried, flanked by warriors in formation. “Gigi, what is this?” Charlene whispered. “It’s a funeral procession,” Gigi said, voice trembling. “For my sons.” Tears spilled down her cheeks as she changed into a flowing black dress with a sheer veil. She and Charlene walked down the dunes slowly.
