The Unchosen Luna

The Unchosen Luna

I finally said, staring at her with every inch of annoyance in me. “How many hours are we going to take to read these books; it will take an eternity,” I growled, staring at how many books were right in front of me. “They are 50 books in total with 400 pages each. It will take us through the night if we read each book at a speed of 13 minutes. “You are crazy, Clara,” I said almost immediately while glaring at her. I mean, that's not even achievable, “that goal isn't realistic,” I finally voiced out while staring at her.

The Substitute Bride: Banished with the Alpha's babies

“Aren’t these books too complicated for you to understand?” “Why does everyone ask me that? Well, I love reading them, and understand what I can. But I do read them without letting mom know about it. She says it’s too difficult for me to understand.” I chuckled, and sniffled. He was exactly the way I do act when I was around his age, or a little older. “Come over here. Let’s see how much you know about business books.”

His Only

His Only

“We humans, are we allowed to enter the other levels?” Davis asked. “Yes, just there are restricted and off-limits areas for us. You are only allowed to read the books at that level and not allowed to leave the library with them. Also, we would only be allowed to borrow a book once from there,” Jake told them some of the rules. “Are there like a time limit on how long you could spend reading the book?” Anna asked, she was interested in finding out some more about these mythical creatures.

Shift

Shift

I could pick up any sound and easily was able to move if I needed to. Stumbling, she placed four books in front of me as she came back, huffing a little. I smiled and grabbed the books. Nodding, I headed further into the library, deeper into the quiet. At the far end of the building, I knew there were quieter tables near the window, where I could watch the storm roll in. Dropping my backpack on the floor with a thud, I plopped down and spread out the four books. Two were pretty thin, only about 200 or so pages. The other two were thick, anywhere between 500-700 pages at least.

I was debating on giving it 4 stars because there is a lot of spelling errors. There is also a dead point but around chapter 70 it picks up speed fast. It definitely keeps you hooked with all the twists and turns. Great story line. Abrupt ending but I hope a sequel has started

I LOVED Sky’s story! Such an incredible read!!! I wish we heard where her friends/bandmates ended up but still. Praying for a second to see what happens with Heath and how Ethan (and hopefully Justin) deal with all that will be thrown at them!

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

The reading corner. He stood in it for a long time. The corner that was Ellie's in its thinking — the north window and the low shelf and the angled seat, the bounded space within the larger room. He had specified the shelf height from Ellie's drawing: the low shelf at the child's eye level, the books at the reaching distance of the sitting child. He had specified the seat angle from the library corner, the slight recline that allowed the body to settle rather than perch.

Mated To My Enemy Alpha

Mated To My Enemy Alpha

To me, I feel it's for safety from Aiden's rivals, I can't say for sure until I confirm it from Emily. "We're safe here!" She smiles. I said it. That means by thought coincides with reality. "I thought so as well!" I interject. I search through the shelves which extends to the ceiling, when I feel the need, I use the sophisticated ladder with buttons to go to any level I wish to. By the end, I pick out three books and it's all about romance, enemy-to-lovers novels from the description at the back.

The Billion Dollar Bet

"I was at the library and I found some I thought you'd like. Want to see?" August nodded so vigorously I was worried about his neck. Carter sat on my living room floor right there in the entryway and started pulling books from the bag. Not picture books. Chapter books. The kind meant for older kids but that August had started gravitating toward because picture books didn't have enough words.

Rewinding My Reaper Boyfriend

"Volunteers for what? Militia?" "No. For the library. Reading to kids. Or shelving books." Cale frowned. "I am not a librarian." "You like books. You like order. You like silence. It's perfect." "Children are chaotic variables. They are sticky. And loud." "They're also funny. And they need someone to read them stories." "I do not know stories." "You can read them facts. 'Did you know the speed of light is 299,792,458 meters per second?' They'll love it."

Bookworm Little.

Bookworm Little.

he says smiling back at me, I asked him if he needed any help. "No, I'm just here to read, if you're not busy you're welcome to join me," he says inviting me to sit next to him in the reading area, there wasn't much of a crowd giving me a chance to sit down with him. "Let's go sit then," he says picking a story, it wasn't the same one he was reading as before, this was more like babies' stories I get my snacks from my bag and came back to sit down with him. At first, my adult self was wondering why he chose a Childers book but little me didn't care. I let him read the story with me right next to him. I was so entranced with the story until I felt something warm go down my princess area, I kn

Average Jane |Lesbian Story|

Average Jane |Lesbian Story|

Jane still remembered the scathing tone of voice in which she had remarked, after their last book reports, "I have to say that it is very disturbing to find a high school students still choosing books on an elementary reading level." The words had stung. Jane didn't read at an elementary level. She just happened to like short stories. But Ms. Reeds had implied that she was some kind of a slow learner. Jane and Emily walked over to the fiction shelves. Emily started with the A's, taking down every skinny book and turning to the end to check the number on the last page. "Ninety-five. Too short. One hundred fifteen. Too long. One hundred five. Getting warmer. One hundred nine. Colder. Okay, her
