“Do you want wine? Or I have beer in the fridge.” Levi looked at the pastry wrapped cheese with interest. OK, this looked pretty good. Should be safe enough. “Levi? Beer or wine?” she asked again. His head jerked up. “Oh, sorry. Beer would be great.” “This looks really good,” he said as she took her seat, “but a knife would be handy.” “Aw hells bells,” she groused as she jumped up from the table to grab a knife from a drawer. “Sorry about that.”

The curiosity was killing her, so she quietly took a peek without making a sound. Her eyes went wide as she saw a bizarre event happening within the empty hallway. She couldn't see clearly, but she can see wide and clear Killian Lake cupping Harper's face. Levy immediately covered her mouth again, this time tighter. What was that?! She couldn't believe her eyes. As far as Levy remembers, she didn't drink today, and she absolutely didn't hit her head somewhere although she was wrestling to death with her twin a while ago.

I realize that I don’t exactly have a topic of discussion - and I don’t intend to make a fool out of myself either. They’re not in the living room as I expected. Their voices are coming from somewhere further - a place I haven’t ventured to in all my curious wanderings. The door is wide open. Levi sits behind the counter, a glass of alcohol in his slender fingers. His shirt is open at the first three buttons, revealing part of his muscled chest. A chain dangles along his neck. He’s smiling at something the woman is saying. The woman has her back to me. From what I can see, she has pretty brown hair which shimmers when caught by the light.

After I’ve finished rambling off the list from the top of my head, my eyes grow wide when I see that everything I need is sitting on the bench top. “Impressive,” I whisper, picking up a few items, and turning them over to see that they are the expensive brands. “Is this everything you need?” Levi asks as he hands me an apron. I take it from his grasp and wrap it around my torso as I nibble on my lower lip. “I think a glass of red wine will go down nice too,” I state firmly, trying my luck to see if he will choose a bottle for us to share. “I’m thinking a Cabernet? I’m not much of a wine drinker, so…”
