“You said a hard no.” Levius’ jaw clenched, turning away. Yes, it's his fault for saying no but should she still invite him for the second time? Can she finish all of those cups? He knows he can make his own but it would be a waste if she can't finish those three cups. Without permission, he took one cup and opened it, taking the small fork that was pinned the top. She made an “eh” but he just shot her with an ‘it's mine’ look and she pouted.

Just as she gained her feet, the main door to the hallway creaked open. Both of them froze, hands flying to their weapons. Jake had his hatchet in hand in an instant; Ethel’s fingers closed around the grip of her 9mm. Levi slipped through the door, closing it softly behind him. He was breathing heavily, his face flushed, but he had a strange, triumphant look in his eyes. In his hands, he held two dusty, but full, plastic bottles of water. “Morning,” he said, his voice a little too loud for the tense atmosphere. “Found a vending machine down the hall. It was busted open, but these were just… sitting there. Figured we could use ‘em.”

He grabbed his glass of rum and gulped some, drinking to the thought. "You still hooking up with different girls, eh?" Levi chimed in, combing his fingers through his thick and dark curly mane. Like Jesse, he used Clix excessively. He slept around and kept notches on his bed post - especially those models and local celebrities he had sex with.

Levi said. “Mm, our hero,” Liz teased. Can she make it any more obvious that she is #teamlevi? I rolled my eyes so far back in my head I thought it might get stuck. Levi drops the umbrella, closes it, and shakes it out before placing it in the umbrella holder. He steps forward and pushes the door open ad holds it open for us. A jingle announces our arrival and heads turn as I walked through the door.

She’s not usually like this. On the other hand, Levi felt so giddy. He was only getting a cup of water for a certain someone but the happiness he felt was beyond compare. He knew what she is. He knew why he felt that way. Her smell was familiar and he knew that it was the same scent he smelled on the woods. It’s the scent that kept him up all night. “Here,” he handed the glass of water to Lexi. “Thanks,” she said and took a sip from it.

“Think you can handle this?” Lara scoffed, crossing her arms. “What do you take me for, Kuya? A kid? Of course, I can.” Levi chuckled. “We’ll see about that.” he said as he poured a drink for her, sliding the glass across the counter. Lara picked it up and took a sip. The strong, burning taste immediately made her wince, but she quickly covered up her reaction. Unfortunately, Levi saw it and immediately burst into laughter. “Yeah, real impressive.”

His arms were crossed, and his brows creased slightly, but he didn't say anything as I approached. "Esmeralda would kill you, you know," Levi started. "You set a new record, it's almost noon." "Almost? I was aiming for sunset,” I nodded. “Have you gotten the supplies?" Levi nodded and dangled his pouch for me to see. The small leather bag clinked with the promise of answers—answers I had been seeking for far too long. “The Order might not take this seriously,” Levi voiced out. I grunted, my dislike for the Order evident on my face.

He was crazy and funny and I liked him, it was an odd friendship between him and Levi, one you never thought could work, but it just did. We followed Bo to his house and we pulled the bikes into his garage. There were two bags lying on the table and Levi started unpacking them. I watched him as he put two pistols in a shoulder holster and a Karambit knife that went onto his belt. Next he unzipped another carrier case and took out a rifle. “Bo, she’s a beauty,” Levi said as he checked it and started taking it apart and then reassembling it. He put it back in the bag with a sad look on his face and at that moment I knew why Tala scared me sometimes.

Levi POV Her skin feels like silk as I run my hands up her lean toned legs over her knees and along her inner thighs slowly spreading them as I go. The scent of her arousal hits my senses and it calms and excites me at the same time. I have waited for this moment for so long. The moment that I get to claim my mate fully.
