Levi asks, his curious gaze sliding between her and I. She looks back up at me as we respond with a “no” in unison. Levi’s eyes narrow on me for a moment, then he turns to the girl and flashes her a wide smile as he extends a hand. “Hi. I’m Levi.” I’ve seen that slick smile of his work on lots of women. Levi’s a good looking guy- tall, built, tousled black hair and striking green eyes- but above all, he knows how to turn on the charm. Dude pulls almost as much tail as I do.

“I’m here for you.” “I don’t remember you, though.” He smiled. “First things first. My name is Alejandro Ortega.” “Do we have a relationship?” I wondered. “Oh, we have a relationship. We share a lot of secrets.” “I’ll go call a doctor,” Levi said, his eyes on me for a moment before he left. As he walked out of the room with his head down, he dug into his pocket and pulled out his phone. For some reason, I wanted to leave the bed, go to him and comfort him. He just looked pitiable. Alejandro pulled me away from my thoughts when he spoke.

“What are you depending on, Lycan?” “I told you, I came here with an offer that you would want to hear; however, I do believe that you are being childish enough to not want to fucking listen. Anyhow, I do not fear you, your gun, or that idiot you call your partner. If anyone knows Alexei in this room, it is me, and I am the only one who knows how to kill him while he is still alive” I said, glaring daggers at the man who frowned in confusion.
