The whole place was filled with noises and grunts as everyone started to train, preparing for the war that is awaiting us. I dodge swiftly and sat on the ground using my left leg. I put my right in motion and kicked Flynn, making him lose his balance. I heard his body made a loud thud as I quickly rolled and dodged Levy's attack. I saw a hint of guilt and sadness in her eyes, but I remain unfazed and dueled with her with no feelings attached. I was able to kick her in the stomach, making her crouch on the ground. I duck my head immediately when I felt something behind me. I was able to dodge Levi's attack and grabbed his arms, carrying his weight until I was able to throw him down.

He steps out, surprised by the fight. “Gajeel, what are you doing?” “Handle your part!” Gajeel shouts. “They saw something!” Adrian looks between us and then joins the fight, trying to pull Luca back. As Archer and Levy appeared, we stood in the hallway while the healers assisted Ella. I directed Levy to stand next to Ella. Even if she couldn't heal her, her touch might alleviate some of the pain. Despite her puzzled look, Levy followed my instruction. She didn't know that when she'd touched my hand earlier, her genuine desire to comfort me had been truly healing. She still had a lot to learn about dragons and magic.
