Journey Through the Shadow Realms

Journey Through the Shadow Realms

When the travelers were ready, they followed Retta as she walked silently around trees and bushes along a gravel path. Unlike the straight and level paths of Alnoc, Eldion saw that the gravel path led them around existing plants and trees rather than having them cut down. Many times, they had to duck or push low lying branches to get through. The sun had traveled close to the western horizon and Eldion wondered how far they were from the temple. He did not know how vast Rokuhari was, but after walking on the twisting path and on upward slopes, he realized that it was far bigger than he thought.

Winter's End, Spring's Reckoning

Winter's End, Spring's Reckoning

I ignored his gaze and turned to look at the worried Andy. "Andy, I'm hungry. I would like to drink Mom's chicken soup." "Sure thing." Andy patted me on my head and flashed me a smile. At the same time, chaos reigned in the corridors. "I need Adele Lakewood's family! She's bleeding!" Jonah immediately sprang up and pushed the door open, yelling, "I'm here! I'm her husband!" Before he left, he looked at me, but a nurse soon escorted him away. I lowered my eyes, saying nothing.

I'm in Survival Hell, You're in Party Heaven

I'm in Survival Hell, You're in Party Heaven

Time passed, slowly at first, one hour, then two, and with it came hunger and thirst and the air growing thinner, all of it bearing down on their already frayed nerves until the hallucinations started. Dad suddenly shot his arm out and pointed into the dark, his voice cracking with terror. "Stay back! Stay back!" What he saw wasn't an empty room. It was me, dozens of me, drenched in blood, reduced to skin and bones, rust water still dripping from my chin. I crawled out of the walls and fell from the ceiling and surrounded them from every side. Mom saw them too. She reached out into the air with both hands, tears and snot running down her face.

Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

Azrael began snorting gently. “Trapped with an unhinged god.” I muttered under my breath. “What was that, little wolf?” My stomach clenched. “Nothing.” Ignoring Azrael’s presence entirely, I set to work. The mansion provided every book I’d ever need and then some. Within the hour, the three tables on the main level of the library were stacked with ancient texts and scrolls of expertly drawn maps. The god realm was as vast as it was terrifying.

Absolutely love this book, couldn't put it down. I've honestly read it more than once haha. Any chance I can buy it in paperback? This is a great book, give it a chance you won't be disappointed. Love the characters, love the book, love it!

I love this story so much that I kept reading, not realizing it was already four in the morning, and I had to wake up to take my kids to school at 7. every story by this author is beautifully written and addictive, but I love the humor and the strong female character in this story the most.

Devil's Groom.

Devil's Groom.

Chapter: 27 ****** Their steps were measured and deliberate as Azrael led Offilies through the aisles of books. The library was vast and quiet, the only sound accompanying their conversation was the soft rustle of pages and the occasional fluttering of wings from passing Ceruleanians. As Azrael confessed his forbidden affairs with the Devil, Offilies listened intently, his cerulean eyes widening with each revelation. His usually composed demeanor was replaced by a myriad of emotions—shock, concern, and an underlying fear for his beloved Prince's well-being.

The Taste of Heaven

The Taste of Heaven

After their talk, Nevea and Zach spend their time searching for a clue by hanging out in the library. First, they read each book that contains demons and fairies. But, all the information they got was far from what they had experienced. When they read the history of demons, it is always related closely to hell and another sort of religion. And about fairies, it was just a story of a bunch of cute little things. What they read was pretty much useless. Not even once they mentioned purity. Kindness was there, but the ridiculous rule about desire was not mentioned.

Damned Straight to Heaven

Damned Straight to Heaven

I’m deeper still. The smell is rancid as I descend the steps into a damp and cloyingly warm chamber sitting past that first picturesque mausoleum. A pentagram is burned into the earth here, and I mean it is actively alight and glowing, like cherry red coals in a fire. Stood inside is a thrashing mass of what looks like tar and shadow and crimson eyes – Even with Ashmedai in control, my body vomits at the sight of it, the feel of him-- “Daniel,” Christian softly calls. He’s stood trapped in the center of that pentagram, glowing with heavenly light. The demonic mass is nowhere to be seen, but I know that thing is still lurking here, right behind Christian's breathtaking, stolen image.

Rejected Me Once, Never Fool Me Twice

Rejected Me Once, Never Fool Me Twice

Something inside me was restless, like an invisible hand tugging at my chest. By the time I reached the library, dawn had barely touched the horizon. The large double doors creaked open, revealing rows of ancient shelves and the faint scent of parchment and dust. The Crescent Moon library was one of the oldest in the region, its archives holding records of every battle, every raid, every history written under moonlight. If there were answers, they would be here. I walked past the shelves until I reached the back section,The Era of the Alpha Gods. Thick books, sealed scrolls, and yellowed maps filled the space. My fingers brushed over their spines until I found what I was looking for: The Rec

Heir Of Angels: Stalking Vaelora Book 1

Heir Of Angels: Stalking Vaelora Book 1

When I tried to pull my hand back, the paper stayed stuck to my skin, glued to my palm by some invisible force. I gasped, peeling my hand away with a sharp tug. The card flipped over, landing face-up on the table. My breath caught. The card was beautifully, horrifically painted. It depicted a heavy, ancient-looking chalice—a relic—filled to the brim with a thick, crimson fluid that looked unmistakably like blood. The background was dark, slashed with strokes of gold and ash. Behind me, I heard Zane let out a sharp, sudden intake of breath. I glanced up to see his forehead furrowed into a deep, angry frown, his jaw completely clenched.
