When the Alpha’s Scent Fades

When the Alpha’s Scent Fades

When Wesley heard my question, he rushed in and said in disbelief, "Maggie, I'm your mate." With trembling hands, he tried to touch me, but I immediately pulled my hand away. "Don't touch me. Get away." My icy tone made him freeze on the spot. "Maggie, have you forgotten me? We have bonded for life." Instantly, my head started to hurt. Wesley tried to come closer to me. In the past, his scent could always calm me down. However, at that moment, I only found him strange and oppressive. "I said, don't touch me." My tone was still icy.

fangs and fire: The omega's fate

fangs and fire: The omega's fate

A scent. Delicate. Feminine. Soft like morning dew and wild like rain-soaked leaves. It hit me suddenly, wrapping around my senses like a whisper I couldn't ignore. My wolf surged to the surface, restless and alert, pushing against the edges of my control. My feet moved before I could process why,I had to find the source.

My Secret, My Bully, My Mates. Series

My Secret, My Bully, My Mates. Series

“What are we doing looking for that spell then? Isn’t that a waste of time?” “No, we can minimize it, not get rid of it. All living things are designed to have a scent. It is for knowing the difference between friends and foes, predator versus prey, poison or something safe. What this group is doing is removing the scent all together. But, not only from themselves, but their victims too. It’s like a blanket and it’s dangerous because we don’t know how far that blanket covers.” “So, this storm just started. How long is it supposed to last? How much longer do we have to wait for our brands?”

This was a good book! Filled with plenty of fighting and love. I do however recommend you don’t listen to the “last chapter” it’s not part of story. It’s Author’s notes if I had known I wouldn’t have paid to open “chapter” other than that I say I recommend this book. Happy reading everyone

Eve's Temptation: Bound By His Obsession

Eve's Temptation: Bound By His Obsession

He suddenly paused, inches away from me. “Your neck is throbbing.” He noted, voice dropping low. “Does the scent scare you… or do I?” For a moment, I couldn’t breathe. “I...I—” “Let it sit,” he murmured scents evolve. What hits you first is just the top, citrus, maybe spice. But that fades.” His breath brushed my cheek. “Then comes the heart. That’s what you really feel... emotion. But it’s the base that stays what clings to your skin long after I'm gone.”

ALPHA TWINS FATED MATE: The black moon luna

ALPHA TWINS FATED MATE: The black moon luna

, I thought as I stood peeping from the entrance of the hall. As I walked in, I perceived a very sharp scent. Pausing, I realized it was the intense scent of my fated mate. The scent is a sharp blend of peppermint , grapefruit and lemon. The scent was so pungent that I felt like I could taste it as well. Before I knew what was going on, I was sweating profusely. It was as though someone had poured water on me. The feeling was so overwhelming, I could not put words to describe how I felt. I felt hot and cold at the same time.

Flesh And Fire: A short story Collection

Flesh And Fire: A short story Collection

Their scents clung to me, threaded through my hair, lodged in my skin. Kael was pine forests and rain, steady and grounding, the kind of scent that made my wolf want to curl up and surrender. Riven was darker, heavier, smoke, leather, and heat, curling around me like the promise of something I shouldn’t want but couldn’t stop thinking about.

Claimed by the Seven Alphas

Claimed by the Seven Alphas

"Your lily scent is stronger. At least double what it was three days ago." His voice was a bit hoarse, pressing down on me from above my nape with tangible weight. A scent unique to him, the smell of old book pages, began to seep slowly from the collar of his pristine surgical gown. The scanner probe was still jammed against my gland. Even through the thick suppressant patch, his sensitive fingertips could clearly feel the movement beneath the skin. Something wild was shoving desperately outward with a scalding heat, trying to break free. It was my lily of the valley, on the verge of being fully catalyzed into a heat by the trace Alpha pheromones in the air.

MY BULLY PRESIDENT

MY BULLY PRESIDENT

His body, pushed past its limit, reacted with a profound, violent surge of its natural state. It was not the slow, quiet compliance of the previous week. This was a catastrophic Omega Scent Slip—a sudden, unbidden expulsion of pheromones that carried not just fear, but a distinct, undeniable aroma of vulnerable distress and need. It was strong enough to cut through the sterile office air and momentarily overwhelm even Lucian's powerful scent. Lucian felt it instantly. The potent, sweet, complex rush of the uncontrolled Omega scent hit his senses like a physical blow. It was the raw, undeniable proof of Thalynn's true nature, far stronger than the fleeting trace he had caught in the storage r

SHADOWS OF THE ALPHA

SHADOWS OF THE ALPHA

Lyra murmured from my left, eyes on the ground. “What?” “That you’re thinking of running back and drawing another shape on Jason’s throat,” she said, amused. “Get it out.” “I’m thinking of soup,” I said, and then ruined the lie by taking in the air the way wolves do when they’re hunting something they haven’t decided to kill. The scent hit in layers. Pine, damp wood, a stain of metal. And under it the wrong: the careful, synthetic nothingness of bottled plants and laboratory dirt. Scent blockers. The nose knows when it’s being erased.
