She hadn’t realized the weight of that look, not until the world captured it and gave it a meaning.
A knock pulled her from her thoughts. Onaara stepped in, her expression already thunderous.
“You’ve seen it,” Onaara said flatly.
“I have,” Celeste replied, still with that amused little curve of her lips.
Onaara, however, wasn’t in the mood for humor. She marched to the bed, snatched the phone from Celeste’s hand, and glared at the image as though she could burn it off the screen. “This is dangerous. They’re twisting stories, baiting the public, stirring up attention you don’t need.”
