Auntie Grace explained and we nodded and kept quiet, trying to digest the o formation. It was surprising that this could happen in real life because I had only read it in novels. The four brothers nodded and bit their fingers again, their blood flowed down the stone in slow pace. The stone started emitting different colour and when the seventh colour shone, my heart suddenly thumped painfully and I groaned. As the eighth colour shone, the pain in my heart increased and I fell on the ground. My body started burning and I could see a strange light coming out of my left palm.

A man stumbled into the room, interrupting the old man's further attempts. Instinctively, Aysel grabbed the bed covers and shielded her body up to her head. She felt ashamed of letting herself to be seen naked by another stranger. From under the cover, Aysel heard an angry hiss from her partner as he went down the bed. "Who the hell are you?" He barked infuriatingly, for he had been interrupted in the middle of his sweet actions. "Where is she!" The stranger demanded, his drunken hoarse voice resonating in the room, sending chills down Aysel's spine immediately she heard his demanding tone.

"These are my newly concocted poisons. The darker the color, the more lethal it is. Today's your lucky day, you get to try the whole spectrum." The stranger pondered whether that luck was supposed to be appealing. However, after trying just two colors, he couldn't bear it anymore and screamed, "I really can't say! If I do, the worms in my brain will explode, and I'll die immediately!" Larissa, recalling the fake Alma, blurted out, "Are you afflicted with brain worms as well?" The stranger nodded frantically. "Since you know, you must also know that if I mention certain words, the worms in my brain will explode, and I won't survive."

I kept walking towards my family till I got to my mom's side and broke down. I have to be strong. Time to turn a new chapter of my life.  Only two chapters left for this book.
