We did this so that the people who loved Loner to Luna so much, could continue the series, without having to search for it. I am including Ashina's Quest with Loner to Luna, so you will see two Epilogues under that title. They were in the original book together, so they will stay that way.

I closed my eyes and began to breathe through the pain, hoping that with just a few moments of rest I could continue this seemingly never-ending hallway. Once again, I found myself floating away, but this time when I landed in the hospital room I didn't panic. I looked out the window and saw that it was dark outside, darker than normal from what I could tell. When I got close, I could see that someone had turned off the outside lights. But even without it, the outlines and shadows of people mulling around outside were still visible. They didn't look like they were moving as Soul Eaters had been. Soul eaters, it was amazing how the idea of that didn't seem so ridiculous or alarming now.

It came from Riley, low and feral, echoing across marble and eternity. Solen froze. His eyes widened—not in rage, but shock.

I stood over him, panting, blood dripping from my split knuckles, my tracksuit torn at the shoulder, my ribs throbbing in flames. Solana sauntered over, the crystal tucked under her arm, its scarlet light pulsing faintly. “Not bad, Beta,” she teased, a smirk tugging her lips, but her eyes scanned the shadows, alert. The warehouse fell silent, save for the Beta’s whimpers. We’d won the crystal, but this was far from over.
