HELION MARY.

HELION MARY.

Now, I don't know what you must have heard about land mines, but as a soldier and as someone who had experienced its life wrath, I could tell you that, land mines are not merciful weapons unless they are designed to be. If not, a weight as light as two kilograms triggers it and would cause it to blow off immediately. The least of the damages could be having your leg amputated. It is a Miracle that I live to tell this story. ***************** Standing as still as we could. Mercury was already crying and breathing heavily. She thought she was dead. We all did.

SEVER ZERO

SEVER ZERO

"Deploying countermeasures!" Around the perimeter of the ship, buried beneath the ash, Pressure Mines detonated in sequence. THUMP. THUMP. THUMP. Grey clouds of ash and shrapnel exploded upward. It wasn't lethal—it was tactical. The mines were filled with Flash Powder and magnesium. A blinding white light washed over the battlefield, turning the grey fog into a wall of brilliance. "Visuals lost!" a Blackwatch commander screamed. "Switch to thermal! Go to infrared!" "They can't!" Ren yelled, racking another round. "The reactor heat is masking us! They're blind!"

Twin Alphas' abused mate

Twin Alphas' abused mate

We are struggling to adjust to the new order more than I expected but all agree it’s still for the best. It’s probably ill advised to be wandering through a minefield with my head all over the place, but it is imperative that I check the mines haven’t shifted on the beach. The wind has uncovered a lot of them so they may not be the deterrent we had hoped, I’m well enough aware of my state of mind to know I shouldn’t be messing with them today. Luckily the ones on the rocks appear to still be concealed and stable. The men in the lighthouse outpost are all in high spirits, the crazy fuckers love the thrill of a stormy sea, the men in the shack Zander visited are less impressed with the recent

The Billionaire’s Blood-Oath Bride

The Billionaire’s Blood-Oath Bride

"And the board has decided that the architects are no longer required." The lighthouse exploded, not from a bomb, but from a massive surge of raw, unencrypted energy that sent a wall of fire racing across the surface of the water toward the gunboat. Elias looked at the fire, then at Silas, and for the first time, a flicker of something human, something like regret, passed through his eyes. He shoved Silas and Verina toward the small emergency submersible at the back of the boat just as the fire reached the hull.

Claimed by the Ruthless Biker

Claimed by the Ruthless Biker

began before their boots could even touch the wood of the docks. Ruan didn't wait for the vanguard to find cover. He slammed his thumb down onto the manual pressure plate of the detonator. Deep beneath the surface of the black water, the harbor mines Arthur Vance had hidden in the dry docks forty years ago finally answered the call. The ocean exploded. A wall of white water and green fire tore through the center of the harbor, the shockwave so violent it lifted the vanguard transport truck behind me off its tires. Three of the zodiacs were instantly vaporized, turned into a rain of shredded rubber and burning fuel that painted the fog in shades of gold and blood.

Soldier, Billionaire, and Contract Husband

Soldier, Billionaire, and Contract Husband

The ground seemed to tremble beneath her, and her instincts screamed at her to freeze in place. Callie’s gaze darted downward, and her eyes widened in horror as she saw what she had stepped on—an old landmine, its ominous presence now exposed. The device was a lethal relic of the past, waiting silently to be triggered by any unsuspecting weight applied to its pressure plate. The landmine was small but deadly, consisting of a dull metallic body with rusted edges. Its surface bore the scars of time, evidence of years spent buried beneath the earth.

Whispers of Stardust: A Cursed Destiny

Whispers of Stardust: A Cursed Destiny

I grab my jacket, a flashlight, and—after a moment's hesitation—the small canister of pepper spray Luna insisted I carry after a tourist got handsy in the bookstore last summer. The lighthouse stands a mile outside town, accessible by a winding coastal path. The night is clear but moonless, making me grateful for the flashlight as I pick my way along the cliff edge. Waves crash against the rocks below, their rhythm like the breathing of some giant creature. The lighthouse itself has been automated for decades, its beam sweeping across the dark water in steady intervals. As I approach, I see a figure silhouetted against the white tower. Not Blackwood, I realize with a jolt. A woman.

Hearts at the Helm:A Billionaire's Gamble on Love

Hearts at the Helm:A Billionaire's Gamble on Love

The message wasn't explicit. It came in a series of encrypted relays, a digital whisper that ultimately translated to one line of text on an encrypted terminal Jonah used for foundation work. "A matter of mutual interest. The old lighthouse. Tomorrow. Noon. Come alone." It contained no signature, but it didn't require one. The lighthouse was a ruined, abandoned sentinel on a barren, wind-lashed spit of land a few miles from home. It was a rough rocky shoreline and crashing waves, the perfect spot for a gathering that was never meant to be seen. Jonah felt a chill knot form in his stomach, the old fear. He knew, with a feeling that was almost a physical blow, who had been waiting.

This Time, I Will Not Love You

This Time, I Will Not Love You

It is dark before so I didn’t notice such detail… We were suppose to enter this area but then things happened… he was suppose to guide me in somewhere… I look around and saw a lighthouse nearby. It is placed not far from the seashore… right on the top of a big rock, that white lighthouse is standing with a off lights. I wonder why I didn’t saw that before…

A bit confusing at the beginning but this is a very nice story. Read every chapter till the end and it’s a good ending. But I’m a bit curious what happen to marco and hera after they heard the news that kianna died in car accident.

A good story. The switches between past, present and her two lifetimes were a bit confusing but in general I enjoyed the narrative and the development of the mystery of her death and the birth of her new love! Well done author!
