A Crown Cut with Salt

A Crown Cut with Salt

We ran the night thin and stitched ourselves to the seam where tide and timing meet. Old Noll's thumb read the air, his ear read the hull, and his mouth read numbers until even the sea seemed willing to follow instructions. "Flood'll turn kind at second bell past moon's peak," he said, tapping the chart. "Dock Six'll be wearing her best face for thieves and priests." "Good," Kade said. "We'll dress like both." By false dawn, the lighthouse squinted at us with feigned innocence. The headland chapel kept its lantern out of sight like a man hiding a lover. The harbour guards hugged their braziers and pretended the cold made them lazy.

His Forbidden Truth

His Forbidden Truth

“Of before. Of hands touching light. Of oceans that never stopped singing.” Sophia’s throat tightened. “That sounds like Soma.” Mina turned to her, expression solemn. “You called it a Pulse. But it calls itself a lullaby now.” Sophia frowned. “A lullaby?” Mina nodded. “For the tired parts of the world.” The wind stirred. For a brief moment, Sophia swore she heard something beneath the sound—a faint harmony rising from the earth itself, pulsing gently through the stones. Not invasive. Comforting.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Drowned Kingdom The roar shook the lighthouse. Not the way thunder shook it. Not the way the storm shook it. This was different. This felt alive. The sound rolled across the ocean. Deep. Ancient. Powerful. Like something enormous had just awakened beneath the waves. Nobody moved. Nobody spoke. Even the creatures outside the lighthouse became silent. God. That terrified Lily more than the noise. Fair. Because predators only became quiet when something worse appeared. Reasonable honestly.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

When Dust Meets the Lighthouse

When Dust Meets the Lighthouse

The music was deafening, but in our little world, it felt like there was a barrier between us. I could hear every word he said. He leaned back against the bed behind us, turning his head. His voice was extremely hoarse: "Are you going to leave me again?" At that moment, the walls I had carefully built crumbled. He was Dylan, the only warmth in my bleak and hopeless life. He was my only hope when I fell into the depths of despair. All these years, just thinking his name made my heart ache with longing. I only wanted him to have a good life.

THE ARCHIVISTS PAWN: REBIRTH OF THE BURIED QUEEN

THE ARCHIVISTS PAWN: REBIRTH OF THE BURIED QUEEN

Elara Thorne The North-Point Lighthouse didn't look like a beacon of hope. It looked like a giant, spiral-carved bone thrust into the black gums of the cliff. Unlike the Sea of Glass, the water here was violent, a churning, iron-grey Atlantic that roared against the rocks with a sound like grinding teeth. But it was the light that stopped my heart. It wasn't a steady, rotating beam. It was a flickering, jagged pulse of amber and white. And with every flash, a sound drifted down the spiral exterior, a human voice, raw and frantic, singing a song without words.

Still Loving You Nonetheless

Still Loving You Nonetheless

She held her mommy's hand and said, "Mommy, look, there're many boats at sea. So pretty. They're as pretty as a light show." Nia pointed at a ray of light in the distance and said, "Mommy, look at that boat. Doesn't it look like a lighthouse?" Meredith looked in the direction Nia was pointing and saw while looking at the light. "That is a lighthouse. It's the lighthouse that guides the people's course for them." "Is that so? It turns out that the lighthouse is so big." "Some are big, some are small." "I really want to go and have a look."

The Rejected Healer's Retribution

The Rejected Healer's Retribution

The ship was hurled away from the Sun at a fraction of the speed of light, its salt-armor peeling away in glowing white flakes. As they drifted back toward the cool darkness of the inner planets, Kael slumped in his chair, his skin returning to its human warmth. He looked at the Sun. It was still there-bright, steady, and clean. "The lighthouse is gone," Lyra whispered, her gold-flecked eyes closing in exhaustion. "But the Swarm heard the first signal," Kael reminded them, looking at the scanners. On the edge of the system, a thousand Fold-Points began to open. The "Lighthouse" had been destroyed, but the "Guests" had already arrived.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

"You want to use the Lullaby to talk to the Absence directly." "Not just talk. Help. The Engraver said the Anchor must be a bridge between chaos and order. Haley is the bridge. But bridges go two ways. We have been using the Lullaby to send the Mother a signal: sleep. But we have never listened to what she is sending back."

THE LUNA'S SECOND DAWN

THE LUNA'S SECOND DAWN

Maybe some desperate part of her still hoped this was all a nightmare, that she'd wake up and find herself back in a world where mates actually loved each other. The crowd parted, and Damien strode through like a king approaching his throne. He wore all black, his powerful frame radiating the kind of authority that made wolves submit without question. Behind him walked Sophia, dressed in a flowing white dress that made her look like the Luna she was about to become. White. The colour of new beginnings. The colour Elena had worn on her wedding day. "We gather tonight under the blessing of the Moon Goddess," Elder Patricia began, her ancient voice carrying across the silent crowd. "To witness
