"He should suffer a little longer." --- Later that evening... Lillian sat alone beneath a flowering tree inside the palace gardens. She had promised herself she wouldn't cry anymore. Yet the moment she was finally alone... Every tear she had been holding back for weeks escaped all at once. Tears quietly rolled down her cheeks. "...Do you only know how to cry, Lilly?" She immediately looked up. "S-Sister..." Kiara stood before her. Unable to stop herself, Lillian threw herself into Kiara's embrace. "Why...?"

It took her a lot of courage to say that and then she waved her hand to said good bye. With a pounding heart, Lila left the room and there was Lucas, standing and can't believe with what just happened. Unbelievable, he thought. Almost all the girls in the university is dying to talk to him and then there's this girl, a girl named Lila who seem to be uninterested to him? He simply just can't believe it. For the past four years, Lila is the first ever woman who doesn't show interest to him. He shook his head. Little did he know, Lila's heart is beating so fast and in fact, she was just so good at hiding her emotions. It's effective.

Suddenly Lillian gasped, covering her mouth as tears ran down her face. “Someone tried to kill my pup?” I heard her voice, but her mouth wasn’t moving. I look at her confused, can I read people's minds? I thought. Lila rolled her eyes at me while Lillian looked at me. Wait, don’t tell me. My eyes widened as I moved close to Lillian. I dragged her hospital gown down to look at her mark and we all gasped. What the fucking hell? “What happened?” she asked, trying to look down.

A few hours ago, I finally got direct contact with Lillian. I needed to talk to her. I knew her too well. Lillian was never in love with me. She wanted something. She always wanted something. Her lover was not dead. She was sick. Cancer. And with my protection, Lillian could keep her alive, could stay with her forever. That was why she fought so hard. That was why she did all of this. She thought I believed her lover was dead. She was wrong. My investigation had shown me everything. Pictures.

“Tell me, Lily, do you still remember that pathetic love letter you wrote? Or you erased it from your mind out of shame. But don’t you worry darling, some of us here, have a retentive memory.” My blood turned to ice. The letter. The one I had destroyed. Lillian’s face paled, but she held her ground. “I was sixteen,” she said, her voice steady despite her hands trembling. “It was a mistake. But you? You are still the same vindictive cruel bitch you were back then.” Sharon’s eyes flashed angrily. “You ungrateful little—” Then, like a flash of lightning, the atmosphere shifted and I saw Lillian froze with her eyes glazed, staring at the entrance, unblinking.

Lillian whispered and rolled her eyes. “I still can't believe he broke your heart after he made us believe he was the one. That man was a complete asshole.” Mila cursed and sat on the chair opposite Lillian. “Please, can we change the topic? My head aches while remembering his face.” Lily begged and Mila nodded. Lillian's thoughts drifted to the time she had the best moments of her life. That person made her believe in love and also was the reason she stopped believing in love. He broke her heart and called her names when she caught him with another girl on his bed.

I felt chills all over my body when he said that. “Enzo,” I called, but not knowing what to say. My left arm went numb from the sudden ache going on in my heart. I feel bad for him. I feel bad for the kids. I remember the situation I had with Isabella over the Rice Krispies treat. Lillian Moretti – or should I say Lillian Baker, she was a successful model when she was alive. She always gave a lot of donations and helped a lot of people too. I know Lorenzo wouldn’t lie to me, especially in this situation, but hearing him talk about the real Lillian like this almost feels like a lie.

Alpha Hayden who was shirtless looked away from his Delta under him and snapped his eyes to the door. Her eyes meet with his and her legs wobbles, her body motioning into a freeze. All at once, Hayden rose up from Lillian's upper body and she also got up from the bed. Whilst he just looked away from her and went to his closet to find a shirt, she tried real hard to recompose herself but drastically failed. Her heart, it thumped even elder as the pretty girl on his bed walked towards her. "May I?"Lillian stopped before her and stated rather than asked, her face reading annoyance at the filthy maid before her. Because darn it, just when her dream of Hayden and her was about coming to reality,

Lillian still felt that she was not relaxed yet, not yet until Tristan was found, dead or alive. “Yeah, but why didn’t she try to reach us?” Lillian asked staring at her older sister. “Yeah I asked her the same thing, but she said she was prevented in some sort of a way to reach us,” Eureka said shrugging. And she added, “She’s not just the simple mom that you and I once knew, She’s now the queen of the Succubus realm.” . . . . . About an hour later Willy returned from the jetty:

I wanted to shout at him, to demand answers, but I was too shocked to get out anything. Then Lillian laughed. It wasn’t an amused laugh—it was cold, harsh, and mean. She stood up from her seat now and her eyes glinted evilly in the low light. “Oh dear. This just keeps getting better and better. Do you take us for a fool? A secret wedding night?” She laughed again, this time sounding bitter and very hard-hearted. “If that’s true, then what about the nights Lunaria spent in Nathan’s home? Does that not make her an adulteress? Or is she playing the part of a cheating woman too well?”
